Hey friends!
Thanks in advance for all the possible input.
I have 2 monitors, one is an HD BenQ that works fine, plugged with HDMI and the other is a Samsung TV that has VGA and HDMI. Its max ratio of screen should be something around 1440x900
My problem is the Samsung, that must be more less 8 years old.
If I plug it with VGA the screen is fine, and even gets to 1920x1080 BUT I plug it with HDMI or something better, the screen exceeds the limits of the TV and everything in the borders is off. Also the image looks very different, not better but with certain detail that is a tiresome to the eyesight.
I had to cancel the VGA because apparently my GPU fried it. Since I have a GTX980 Im using the HDMI slot for my main screen and DisplayPort for my secondary screen, the Samsung, but as I said, all the content is off limits and very hard to manipulate.
I tried to reduce the ratio of the screen but even though it becomes smaller, the EDGES ARE STILL OFF, wtf?
How do I fix this? besides throwing at the garbage that screen
Thanks!
