frame drop

I met at about 8~9 players who said their frame drops to the point that they can't actually play. most of them said their graphic cards are more than enough to handle dods(gtx 980, 1060 etc etc) they said they didn't have this problem in other servers and when I tried 4~5 other servers myself frame didn't drop. it all started within 24hours(to me a little after those gift boxes) and when I lowered my video quality it was gone for 3 hrs but then when the server restarted it all started again. and this time changing the video settings didn't work. idk the reason why this is happening and wanna seek your advice. orz
 
I played yesterday when these "presents " were there most players seemed to have some problems, But being a non-tech person I cannot voice an opinion but the server did die early yesterday and I missed my game.

What are these gift boxes? Not something I?m familiar with. Haven?t been on in a few days due to school and work.
S Superglue has there been an update or something? Adam perhaps too. Sounds like something we should get to the bottom of fairly quickly.
 
It is not a DOD update, it is the server issue. Other servers run fine.
 
was happening to me today hard to play i hit windows button opened up task manager found steam client web helper and exited the one with the highest percent of usage and fixed the problem
 
thank you guys for your attention :) thx to oden I found out my steam web helper is eating up like 60% of my cpu when I join ego servers;; I tried to kill it but it restarted right after I killed it; still I guess I can find a way to make it go away for the time being. but I'm worried it's only happening in ego servers and hope something could be done to fix this situation. thx all for your help :D
 
THis is happening in CS servers too I think it’s something with our servers
 
Talking to some people on the server right now, and they say they havent noticed it since yesterday
 
I last played in ego servers about 10hrs ago and this problem still was there. so maybe each players got affected by it differently. but now it's gone :D idk if it's just me or the problem is completely gone I hope it's the latter :) thank you guys :D

Problem should be completely gone. Sorry about the inconvenience.
 
my inconvenience was just minor thing and what worried me was the idea of it going on for a while. but u guys fixed it quickly and I'm grateful :) thx again for all you guys' attention and effort :D
