I have been for about 3-4 years, and been an airsoft gun/supplies dealer for the past year. It's awesome fun, the realism is exciting, and just seeing if any other of you eGOs play too!

i used to have a couple 300 FPS pistols. pretty cool til they broke :(
 
i have 2 plastics, mp5 sd5 spring 270 and p226 pistol spring 297 fps not great but fun anyways
soon im getting a abs/metal gas pistol somewhere around 290 and 330 semi auto/full
maybe a full sized metal mp5 a5 AEG with upgrades to 440 fps
 
i play with my gas barreta with like 300+ fps, fun stuff, soo do u have a internet site were u sell stuff:D can i buy gas for a discount ^.^ ?
 
I'm not into it, but I would be willing to. As would my room mate be, any ideas on where to start? And what equipment is "good"? Any info is appreciated! :D
 
buy a gun of the internet, to start off, skip the wimpy spring guns, those are what give airsoft a bad rep and make paintball people talk trash about it lol. buy a gas pistol. ive played with one forever and i pwn aeg's cause it small and i can manuever better than them with their big bulky guns, the only down side is u only have 20 somthing shots they have 200. but i still win :)

I have GREAT deals on clone AEGs which now can be very close to the quality of TMs, CAs, ect for LESS than half the price. They all run, with highcap, battery, charger, and a quality gun for around 115 shipped.

And FPS DOESN'T say ANYTHING about the quality of your gun, and what is reported for FPS is often exaggerated, what is more important is the quality of the HOPUP. And there are many AEGs, such as the MP5Ks, which are pistol-sized, and would likely give you some trouble shakenbake:)

I don't have them online yet, but I sell primarily JG (Jin Gong), A&K, CYMA, and similar guns.

I'd HIGHLY recommend an AEG over gas if you want anything competitive, espcecially since gas guns tend to require ALOT of maintenance after awhile, and you'd enjoy your 100 bucks more with an AEG of high quality.

What brand is it, and where are you from? Just curious in case I see someone asking around for it:)

And paintball is better for those who like that type of action. Fast, some strategy, but the strategy variations are limited, if you like paying boatloads of money just to play, then it's more for you.

Airsoft is very realistic, MUCH more versatile, and you can play in more realistic, uncleared areas, such as woods, and still have the ability to shoot through brushy and wooded areas, whereas paintballs would have been lacerated into a million pieces by that time.

It's all about who you are I guess, I'm a person who has a respect and a desire for knowledge about those who are, and have fought in wars for us in the past. And although this is nothing close, the mil sim aspect of it is really awesome.

One huge plus is airsoft is SO Cheap compared to paintball. 5000 rounds of quality airsoft ammo, .20g weight, will run about 10 bucks. How much would 5000 paintballs cost? Then there is the pain of having to get gas refills, and decent markers are also crazy expensive.

Which brings up another point, those who have found disappointment in airsoft, even when using a quality gun, fail to comply with one VERY important aspect of airsoft. It's a NECESSITY to use quality, heavy weight .2g+ ammo. I'm sure alot of your have played with cheap guns, and cheap .12g ammo. That is NOT airsoft. Airsoft guns also have better range, and are far more accurate at longer ranges.

I <3 airsoft, its like my favorite sport.

I've never played paintball, however, so I'm not sure if its better, but nonetheless, I am very pleased with airsoft.
 
i play airsoft in my neighbors front yards and in front of peoplese house and stuff, u cant do that with paintball, it also takes stategy instead of just spraying 1000 painballs at people hopeing you hit them. and the guns are realistic =) and iarsoft is cheaper ^.^

Nice loadout Joko! And shakenbake, I sure hope you are kidding aobut playing in front of peoples' houses. If that's true, you are the reason airsoft is in jeopardy, and you will find yourself in some trouble with the police before you know it.
