EdgeGamers is utilizing a CAD/MDT system for our law enforcement, firefighters, medics, and dispatchers.

In order to bring the fullest extent of the system, we request that our civilians register an account and follow this guide to set your character up to what you have in the game.

Joining Instructions
1. Visit https://edgegamers-cad.bubbleapps.io/ and select "Request Access".
2. Fill out your information in the boxes provided. For the box titled Access Password enter "edgegamersego".
3. Press Next
4. Select the "CIV" department and press "Request Access"
5. Wait for your access request to be approved. This can take up to 24 hours.

Initial Post-Approved Steps
1. Once your account has been approved, sign at the link above and go to "My Account" in the top right-hand corner.
2. For the box that has "steam:" in it, follow these instructions to get your hexadecimal steam ID:
  1. Visit http://vacbanned.com/
  2. In the box in the top right-hand corner, enter your Steam ID, Community ID (the name that shows in your profile link if you have one), or the link to your Steam profile. (You can get your Steam ID from MAUL Home if you are verified for Steam)
  3. Add at least 1 identifier. This will allow you to enter into the civ panel later. (You do not need to enter your characters here, this can just be a basic username or something. Your character info is added later.)
  4. Press "Save"

Creating Your Characters
1. Enter your information. Here is an example of information properly filled out: https://i.imgur.com/Fxm8IY2.png
2. The site will redirect you to your character list, select the one that you wish to manage.
3. You will be directed to the civilian panel where you can edit your DMV info, your firearms info, roleplay warrants for you, edit your characters info, switch characters, and access "Twotter" (may not work properly).

DMV
1. Register Vehicle
  1. Plate - typically civilian vehicles have the correct plate number on them, just enter the numbers and letters from the license plate of your car.
  2. Model - the type of car you have. This can be "Camaro" or more preferred, "Chevrolet Camaro".
  3. Color - the color of your car.
  4. Are you insured by Mors Mutual Insurance? (Yellow background and to the right is yes) - put this as yes unless you wish to roleplay that you don't.
  5. Example - https://i.imgur.com/QJgoEYp.png
  6. Note - registering a vehicle only applies to the character you are selected. So you can put different vehicles on different characters. If you wish to use a vehicle on multiple characters (which could prevent trouble since cars will automatically change characters in the game), you need to add the car to all characters.
  7. Note - Law enforcement will still confirm the car is registered through in-game features so registering a random vehicle that you did not purchase will result in you going to jail.
2. Manage Registered Vehicles - allows you to edit vehicles you have registered in the case you need to remove one or change the color of one.
3. Report Stolen Vehicle - report your vehicle stolen by clicking the "Report Stolen" button. If you locate your car, press the button again to indicate it is no longer stolen.
4. Drivers License Center - manage the status of your driver's license. You may set it to whatever status you choose based on how you wish to roleplay.
  • Valid licenses are licenses that are good and up to date. (This does not mean you do not have warrants, etc).
  • Expired license - you have not renewed your id since it expired. This is typically a warning or a citation depending on the situation.
  • Suspended license - your license was suspended for some reason such as a DUI or reckless driving, driving on a suspended is an arrestable offense.
  • Remove license - means you do not have a license. Driving without a license is an arrestable offense.
**Click outside of the white box in order to return to the civilian panel.

Bureau of Firearms
1. Register Firearm - simply select the type of weapon you wish to register and click "register". It will generate a certificate of registration with a registration number.
  • All civilians are still expected to have purchased a weapons permit at one time (you do not have to have the physical object).
  • Registering a weapon simply makes the gun return to your name. In order for a weapon to be legal, it needs to have been purchased from the ammunation and you must have a weapons permit (or if you have a special carbine, a rifle permit from the shop up in Paleto Bay). Again, registering a weapon does not make it legal.
  • Not registering your weapon is illegal and could result in confiscation, citations, and/or arrest.
  • Once you register a certain weapon, that number can be used later down the road even if you purchase another one.
2. View owned firearms - see your registered firearms and the numbers/certificates of registration for them.
3. Report a stolen firearm - mainly used for roleplay purposes, you and another person may roleplay that they stole your firearm or that they have your firearm that was stolen before.
**Click outside of the white box in order to return to the civilian panel.

Warrants
*Warrants entered through the character menu are done for roleplay purposes on behalf of the civilian. If you want to rp that you have a warrant, you would do so by entering it in here.
*These do not include warrants created by law enforcement officers. Just because you don't have a warrant in the box, does not mean that you do not have a warrant issued by a law enforcement agency otherwise.
1. Create Warrant
  1. Warrant For - put in the reason you have a warrant. Could be failure to pay child support or burglary, etc.
  2. Filing Department - select the department you wish to have a warrant filed by (typically this should be the Sheriff's Department)
  3. Press Create to creat the warrant.

Edit Info
*Allows you to edit your character information.

Switch Character
*Allows you to switch the character you are modifying.

Tow Cad
*Not functional at this time.

Twotter
*Allows you to post on "Twotter" which is the CAD version of Twitter. We recommend you use the ingame Twitter but you can use the Twotter in the CAD if you wish but you may not have that much of an audience.

I have followed the steps as written here. Can I get access to the civ side so I can add my characters info into the database.

To clarify, the "CIV" department is on the bottom-right when you click on "Patrol", aka "The Great Seal of the State of San Andreas" picture.

Need access to the dmv and creating the character section of the CAD please.

Once I get to the point of adding the identifier and save, nothing happens after that.
