I thought I may introduce myself. My Name is Nidhoegger (Markus in rl) and I am a software developer from Germany. I mostly play DoD:S on the eGO servers. Thats why I decided to try and join this marvelous community. I am 31 years old by now and enjoy gaming since I was a little child (Back then playing with NES and SNES, later we got an 486 PC with 4MB of memory (which I later upgraded to stunning 8MB)). I enjoy playing retro games as well as new games, sometimes single player, sometimes multiplayer. I startet online gaming at school (when ISDN was still a thing) when the Counterstrike 0.xx versions were out. It was a hard time getting them to work as you needed specific versions of half life and downloading patches at 56k speeds was no fun at all (and my parents would kill me for the phone bill). But we got it to work!
Today I mostly work with PCs as a software developer (mostly server stuff with linux and C++).
So, thats a bit about me. I hope to find my place here in the community and hope for a good time!
