Bad Company 2 Statement from Hell No.1 Demon

i totally disagree with this. This is why crap games like bf3 were made to create some sense of 'fair'. These games are about war, they are about winning. The proper response to getting your ass kicked over and over is not to whine and complain but to get better. Like demon i have thousands of hours in this game as well ( a ridiculous amount, as my kids remind me lol) so i've gotten pretty good. Well? So can you!

you don't count~!

It's funny, I actually have a totally different take on this whole "is Hell Demon No. 1 cheating" thing. I actually don't care. Cheaters DO disrupt the server and, yeah, that sucks. And if it happened all the time, yeah, the server would end up empty. But the server usually has an admin on as eventually the player would get booted. But IF there is a cheater on or a suspected cheater my attitude is to try to kill them. The way I look at it, if I can actually be good enough as a NORMAL player and kill that cheater (who probably sucks anyway without the hacks) then that's really cool! Same for base rape. If a team is SO BAD that they allowed the other team to overrun them to their uncap in my opinion THEY DESERVE to be base raped! Lol. I know, I know...rules. But that's how I feel.

I have to go to work now so I'll post more later but I want to reiterate what I said before. It does a complete disservice to somehow make a game 'FAIR' by booting good players or implementing recon limits or demanding that good players 'hold back' or 'tone it down' just to cater to noob players. I know that sounds harsh and I've been called an asshole once or twice for it, but I totally agree with Demon on this one: quit complaining and start learning and GET BETTER. I simply CAN NOT STAND being on a team that just sits on one flag, hiding in a bush taking pot shots at whatever gets 'lit' and doesn't give a crap about actually PLAYING THE GAME to win. I usually try to wait it out for another round and hope I get on a team that gives a crap.

Also, our server has seen an unprecedented number of new names. I know the number of servers out there is dwindling, but WOW, I can't believe how every single day our server is seeing like 12-15 brand new lvl 40 or higher players. How the hell is that even possible?? And so many of them are camping snipers? I'm not kidding it's kinda weird.

One last thing. Hell, you can do what you want, but, it would be better game play if you stuck around a bit more instead of bailing every time you find yourself on a team that sucks just because you are worrying about your personal stats. Playing against a team of noobs sucks.

Oh well, off to work... :(

Like Demon I have thousands of hours in this game as well ( a ridiculous amount, as my kids remind me lol) so I've gotten pretty good. Well? SO CAN YOU!

I just checked; Steam says I have 2501 hours in this game. I should probably be better than I am with that amount! ;-)

I had fun watching this game from Demon's perspective, as I was on his squad:

Same game from my perspective (starts mid-game, though, sorry):

(EDIT: wow youtube looks like crap. better quality: https://dragon.teridon.com/BFBC2_2018.04.25.mkv )

On reflection I probably shouldn't have switched because it ended up pretty one-sided, but I wasn't thinking about that at the time. The other team was 2 players down, and I think auto-balance was not working because I'm a DS (???). I guess that's what it's supposed to do, but I thought it would balance someone else instead of me. Maybe I should have asked someone else to switch for a more-balanced (and hopefully more fun) game.

holyhacker.. you can level up to.lvl 50 in few minutes (one hour max) by playing on moded serves (15x XP boost or more). so you can get magnum ammo, at4, all guns as a new player, which is good. bad thing is, it produces lvl 50s without skill.

as for me, i have around 4.000hours and can take care of myself on heavy metal servers:) its called empathy and concern about sever population, which made me think that way.

anyway, lot of fun to all of you. im taking small summer break, focusing more on family, cycling, friends and beer:) see ya in winter. maybe..
