I played from Day 1 of Vanilla in 2004 until early Legion. Once WoW: Classic comes out, I will be playing that religiously.

My brother had a few thousand hours and dollars into the game, I never tried it though.

Wife loves it, I like it but they have ruined it, much the same way most of the games I like get ruined

I remember my friends playing it like 12 years ago all the time. If I had internet then, I would of played with them. By the time I got it, it was pretty dead

I voted "no never" cuz... I got the 14 day free trial when it was still like $500/month or wtfe... and I played once and was like "Oh ok, this is pretty cool I'll give it a shot..." Then... I went to play it again,,,, and had to wait in line to play. i was like 'Nope. fudge that! *uninstalled*"


I did used to play a lot of Warcraft 2 though (which is like Command and Conquer, or Starcraft, etc.) Where "it" all started, to be honest... now THAT was a game!

I'm clean man. I'm clean... but..... Well, I did have the most hours in the guild for a reason...

And I also did a financial analysis of the pros/cons of being an addicted WoW gamer vs non-WoW gamer (fact: it saves you money in the long run).

I am currently on break until the next expansion, but I do have horde and alliance toons

Played too much, but I am clean now and will probably never play it again

I've seen lots of media about it, had discussions about it, knew people that played it, but the month-to-month play model really threw me off.
But it's still alive and well in a sense to this day, so they're doing something right.
