No offense to people who scored high. But it seems everyone's scores are way higher than what they should be. One standard deviation (68% of the samples data) is roughly IQ 85 to 114. Another 28% or so people should fall within 70-84 and 115-129. 4 people on this post exceeded 130 which will be 2.5% of the smartest people in the world, assuming you believe IQ tests can accurately measures one's intelligence, does not make any statistical sense. It is too small of the samples to draw any conclusion based on Gaussian curve, however. I apologize if you are really that smart who gonna do great things in your chosen fields. Please don't forget us average folks when you win Nobel prizes.

I like to think that eGO is like xanadu for international geniuses. The thing IQ tests can never take into account is mental "agility", the ability to solve problems that you're presented with in real life under truly objective (i.e. random) conditions. When you think about it, it's completely plausible that there could be a huge number of individuals with above-average to genius-level intellect who never achieve their true potential due to environmental factors or psychological variables such as motivation, concentration, etc. Not to disagree with your evaluation of a gimmick IQ test, but just sayin

What purple.huskies did not take into account is the questions asked. They were very scientifically based, and from I've read on the tech forums, you have a lot pretty intelligent people. Real IQ tests are really long and involve a much wider variety of questions from all fields of study. But I thought it was fun to take the gimmick test anyway.

I am 13 also IQ doesn't change with age :/ maybe I should wake up and try a long one

IQ tests are a poor indicator of all of the factors that go into one's ability to apply their experience, creativity, and random neural firings to life. I have never been a fan of these kinds of tests, because of a kind of bias that presumes the same educational and cultural experiences for all test subjects. I prefer to just think of myself as an average whack-job and leave it at that.

(and yes, I didn't take the test. I just messed with the URL to find out how high the scoring would go. I'm a cheater.)
