Disconnect: Invalid Steam UserID ticket

Okay, I keep getting kicked for this error. I've restarted steam a zillion times, I've restarted my computer a zillion times, I've deleted the clientregistry.blob I've reset my router I've reset my cable modem, I've changed my IP address, I've done everything I could thin of. Steam support says this error is caused by having the same IP address as the server, how is that even possible if I don't own the darn server?! Help!!

Oops, my bad. I know you have to delete something in the Steam Directory.

Actually read my post please, I looked at that thread before posting this thread, it says in my thread DELETING THE CLIENTREGISTRY.BLOB DID NOT HELP.

If you're referring to the new Goldrush server giving you the error or it happening frequently as of late, it's something to do with that server. Steam itself has also been having issues lately.

Yes, it is the goldrush server. It happened after a request to fill the server, and I kept trying but it kept crashing. Steam always seems to be having problems, though normally they don't bother me unless they totally make me unable to play. I remember the only time this actually happened was when X-fire first came out and it made Steam crash.

If it's just the Goldrush #2 server, then yeah, that's your problem. It's nothing to do with your own computer, it's an issue with the server not synching up properly with Steam. Could be because it's just a new install and registered with the Steam tracker during a busy time or while Steam was experiencing issues.

Could be any kind of issue on the server, really, but that's what I'd expect. Someone needs to contact the hosting company and have them just completely wipe the server and re-install, I'd think.
