As many people know its been around for a very long time =]. One of the best Card Games that I ever played at that. I am seeing if anyone else plays it or at least likes it. I can give you my newest deck specs if you want to check it out, but its only a prototype i haven't even battled with it yet.

I always liked Jyhad better (it was later changed to something else), but none of my friends wanted to play it. They said it was too complicated (which I liked). So now it sits in a box in the garage along with a lot of my other card/role-playing/etc games.
They just added a new card type, planewalkers. I want to check them out and see if they are actually worth playing with.

don't knock it... I had a deck that generated enough mana to play that straight up and then some. My one deck goes out of the way to not be infintie mana, but it does generate mana that approaches, but never becomes infinite. It's amusing trying to keep track of it in scientific notation...

OMG, Flippy! We have a box of Jyhad cards in our attick that used to get a lot of play. Don't know many others that played it.

I think people stopped playing with me because I always won. I eventually gave all my MTG cards to a friend, who gave me all his Jyhad cards in return. That and they INWO cards are sitting in the garage on top of stacks of RPG books.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm still holding on to my cards. I think I spent 1/3 of the money I earned working at Piggly Wiggly on those cards. I must have somwhere in the thousands of cards

I own alot of MTG cards. And have been playing for at least 6+ years.
I <3 man Greenskins(>.> 40k) so i run goblins.
Boy, do i love them, lawl. Best card ever? Sharp shooters..just need 4 actual copies(have 2 championship ones)
Although, For hobbies, i tend to spend more in Warhammer 40,000

you guys should check out the planeswalkers, they're incredible. The only problem is that they usually get gunned down immediately.

I got into Magic at the beginning (when it was simple! ). I had a friend of mine who went to GenCon buy me a few decks because it wasn't locally available at the time and I spent (at least) hundreds of $ on it since. I haven't played in years but I alway held onto my cards. I lost interest when they kept coming out with new editions and new rules that I couldn't keep up with. This thread is really making want to play again though...
