Yeah, definitely. If you want quality, stick to the big names - Samsung's seem to be the best go-to one. This wouldn't be the worst as a throwaway drive for games perhaps, if you don't mind re-downloading in a bit

I think i managed to get a M2 SSD w/ 500GB for $109 on amazon and it was a Western Digital

I hope yall dont mind me posting about another rather affordable SSD that I just found.

This is a PNY 240gb for $55 (after using the included coupon code): https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...t-_-InternalSSDs-_-20178967-S3A3C&ignorebbr=1

By comparison, Amazon is selling a Sandisk with the same amount of storage with similar specs for only $2 less. However, the last time I received a package from Newegg, it really was protected very well vs if you buy something from Amazon, its really a 50/50 chance of that. Just a fair warning there.

Frankly just look for a Chinese one on Alibaba and have constant backups if you need one for like 40$
