Disable PM's when being quoted

Someone quoted me and it sent me a PM. Which in turn sends me an email, which is kind of annoying. I'd love to turn this off, but didn't find any settings that seem to deal with it - most of them are just dealing with the "mentions" system, which I thought was supposed to do notifications for someone quoting you as well?

Anyways, is there any option to disable this or enable users to stop these?

I agree. The message doesn't even tell me what the person said, just that they quoted me. ;)
 
I like the fact that I get a notification when I get quoted, otherwise I wouldn't know. :P

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited too :P Just emails with no context suck. I'd even be fine it it at least included the text.
 
Maybe we can add an option in the settings on whether or not you want an email, because the notifications are quite helpful.

I definitely want the notifications. Can we perhaps look into a different plugin that serves the same function, but doesn't PM us? (I know this may be asking a lot, particularly if we paid for a plugin.)

Another vbulletin forum I'm on has notifications for quotes, and then has a section in the UserCP for quotes. It looks like this.

The links provided in the PM don't even take you to the post, but back to the start of the thread. This is getting a tad irritating.
