Hi everybody.

I just ordered a new video card, so, I'll be back playing BF1 with the rest of the peeps soon! duDudu

Nice! What card did you get?

Got me a 1070 Ti coming tomorrow. Haven't been able to play BF1 for a while, it locks my PC and tosses nVidia errors left and right. Drivers, everything is all stable. Uninstalled/reinstalled. I can load BF4 and BF3, as well as other games fine. Just something with the card, I guess. Shrug. I'll give the 970 to my bro and rock out the new card. Just hop it fits.

The 970 was notorious for memory leaks, though I never heard of a fix

Oh yeah, I can't wait. I was going to snag one at Micro Center, however, Amazon has a pretty good sale on the 1070 Ti's right now, combined with the decline of people using them for cryptomining. Don't know if I will be on after I install it tonight, though.

I'm looking at a huge increase of FPS though! 62 FPS avg vs 98 FPS.

I've read that the memory leak only occurs in certain HQ games, including BF1. I don't know if I'm affected, however, if I knew then what I knew now, I would have skipped the 970. Probably would have been the same cost now.

Thanks all! It's so great to be loved.

Played some Battlefield 1, well, the near-end of a match. I'm dropping frames and my system is slowing down. What D. Hell. I'll have to figure that out, as it shouldn't be happening on a machine of this caliber. Is it possible for digital files on an SSD to collect dust?
