Simon's answer is the best answer. We don't tolerate name calling and bullying. While CSGO tends to be a much more... colorful game when it to language at times, there's no excuse for it.

Bingo. CS admins are trained to keep this behaviour out of the server. While they can't always be there and spot everything, it it something they are trained to not accept. If they are not upholding these morals, they need to be spoken to.

I've recently been trying to crack down on this. I think the main part about this is what happens when admin is not online. Which, leads into the dropbox.

Because for a community that prides themselves upon being mature, this is not ok.

eGO is a punk-free gaming community and bullying is definitely something we do not allow. If you are getting bullied by another player, or witness a player bullying another player, report it in admin chat immediately. If there aren’t any admins on, get some evidence and submit a ban request. If you see a member or an admin bullying another player, you need to submit a Conact Leadership thread as soon as possible and the CS Leadership will take care of it immediately.

I wanted the dog to learn to go in the cage on his own rather then scare it till it goes in. It is part of what happens when staff aren't on but the severity level of it the instant staff leaves is what I find so bad about it. My goal of writing this was to convince the people directly to stop. I didn't mean to offend the abilities of EGO on taking care of the issue. That's my bad.

Not at all! We totally understand that a lot happens when no eGO members are on. I think our main concern was that there might be eGO members who were the ones causing these issues - if that's not the case, then we can definitely move on from there.

I would certainly encourage you to try and take down evidence of players who are instigating and encouraging bullying - you can make a ban request on them and leadership can make sure they aren't returning to the server. It may be tricky to do but, every little bit helps in the big scheme.

I would add that seeing bullying and not saying anything as a member of eGO is NOT okay. That being said as an e, making ban requests for what you see is a good way to get noticed by leadership.

I made this thread about a year ago and it definitely applies. Discrimination in any way, whether its about age, race, sex, or any of the sort, is not allowed. if you are seeing this action occur, step in and do something. grab an admin, bring it up to leadership, so the proper punishment can be put down, and disuade others from doing so. We are punk-free gamers. We welcome all with open arms and we strongly enforce this rule. I'm sorry you've had to deal with this, and I do hope that proper measures will be taken to prevent any situation like this from occuring again.

Usually if an admin is on they should most definitely warn disrespect and then take action if it continues. Everyone gets on the servers to have fun and not be made fun of. I agree 100% that disrespect has increased over time and if a certain person continues to do it even after being warned should be given a higher punishment then a 1 or 2 day ban. If you have run into this issue report them and I'm sure our leadership will look into it

Listen, this wont end it, nor will it ever end. But you can make it better by not doing the same and maybe becoming an admin to stop such things. Sunny, for an example, is known on pg for the most hated person, and its his own fault for not realizing his mistakes. But i don't bully people, i either joke around with banter, or be nice, which i think is alright.
