Bad Company 2 <==u=l=t=r=a==>

Those stats are years old, stats for BC2 haven't been tracked for years and that is one of the reasons it is hard to confirm hackers/cheaters. If you suspect someone of hacking/cheating or just have someone to report for breaking server/EGO rules please go to Request Ban in the Forums, located here https://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?1233-Request-Ban. <==U=L=T=R=A==> does not appear to have any unusual stats in gameMe at this time, but we will keep an eye on him.

Kak, thank you for posting on this, i was in-game during Ultra's 60/6 helo run and boy were the bodies stacking up....as were the hackusations. The best part of all this is you took the time to bring it to their attention. If more players would take the the time to report on ALL the rule-busters, Heavy Metal would be a better place for all players and the higher-ups would have the ability to take out the "trash" more often. I can't tell you how many times I tell folks to "get teamspeak and grab an admin or go on-line to Edge and start typing a ban request". They never do, and the offenders just continue on their merry way. So here's a Salute to you Kak, and a thank you to Tipton for following up the best he could on this matter. I'm willing to bet that somebody else will eventually post again on Ultra's situation/stats.... and that's a good thing (to get of your ass and post what you see/feel). ........... And Kak, we were (how different) spotting the daylights out of you guys during that game, which may have aided his gunship kills. I thank you both for your time on this, I don't think we've seen the end of this questioning thread.............. Nut out.

I was playing with this guy the other day, and he sure seems to know where everyone is. He even told me one guy was on the AA hill, and I don't think there was any way he could have known that.

I have to agree. I got to see this first hand. This was a few weeks ago when I first had a chance to play with this player. Hopefully you could still find the whole conversation of what was going on in the chat logs. He picked me up in heli and I was his gunner. I saw him move towards unspotted infantry 4-5 times consecutively, all within seconds of each other. One time even turning around to go at it. I confronted him in game and he claimed it was because of his monitor and how close he was to it — an excuse that anyone who has a bit of common sense knows is bogus since resolution is not infinite and getting closer to the screen will not make it produce pixels that aren't there. Plus it won't explain how he was able to turn around towards infantry that was out of his field of view. When I mentioned that to him, he just said "okay."

I feel the need to stress that this is not one of those "he killed me and I'm mad so I'm going to accuse him of using hacks." It was my first time interacting with this player and we were on the same team. I was going to gun for a pilot as I sometimes do and did not know the player or even suspect him, but whatever he was using was so obvious that it really stood out and I had to mention something. Of all the players I've had the pleasure and displeasure of playing with, he is the only one I know uses some sort of "wallhack" (to tell where everyone is). It is not an opinion. I know this with absolute certainty.

I actually asked dark_teridon just a couple of days ago if someone had posted about this guy. I knew it was just a matter of time.

Mev (Mevtic in game if you want to look up the conversation with ULTRA at the time).

It appears that many in our game server look at chats and view gameme player stat's! Also nice to see them reading forum posts. If you are interested and staying informed to that level you might consider being admin, we could probably use a few more!

...spot on Mev...

....and frustrating as hell I might add. Let's see where the chips fall (Anti-Hacker Squad, please report in for duty)....should be interesting.

I think this guy deserves a chance to explain himself just like the player (Hell No.1 Demon) did you remember? he arrived here on the forum said to have a 400mhz monitor and everyone believed .... I have him as an addict, besides that he has a very good PING. The player U - L - T - R - A he can be an addict

Good afternoon everyone

I think this guy deserves a chance to explain himself just like the player (Hell No.1 Demon) did you remember? he arrived here on the forum said to have a 400mhz monitor and everyone believed .... I have him as an addict, besides that he has a very good PING. The player U - L - T - R - A he can be an addict
I do not agree with that but do what?
What if he says his monitor is 400mhz too?

it would be compelling to make him equal to (Hell No.1 Demon) record a video!

just to remind the player (Hell No.1 Demon) does not finish a match without making less than 35 or 40 kils

If it gets to a point where he's banned, he can always make a ban appeal. I don't know what this 400MHz monitor excuse is, but it's usually a measure of refresh rate and it never goes that high. They're normally 60-120Hz (that's a few thousand times less than 400MHz). And it wouldn't matter much anyway, since:

  • Refresh rate does is not directly relate to resolution. Pixels don't magically divide as you get close to the screen to allow for higher resolution
  • The game caps at 200FPS by design, so even if the monitor did refresh at 400 million times a second, it wouldn't matter. Not that your eye can even perceive such refresh rate
  • The game limits the distance at which you can see, regardless of resolution or refresh rate
  • Neither a high resolution monitor nor a monitor with a high refresh rate would allow you to see 360?. There may be a FoV setting but doubt it'd be playable through a fisheye lens, if the game would even allow you to. He's been seen turning towards unspotted enemy. (As a gunner, I have a slightly closer view and the ability to look in all directions. I see exactly what the pilot sees and more)
This is not about kill-count. He's been accused way before his count's gotten that high. Kill-count should never, ever be used to judge if someone is illegitimate. Also, ping is irrelevant to what he's being accused of. It would not affect what you see on-screen.

EDIT:

As for video. I was going to record the last time I saw him, but he flew solo and was not in a squad, making it impossible to record him as his gunner or record him when un-spawned. I really hope you didn't mean for him to record a video. There is no doubt he is a decent player even without hacks. If he does record, he'll just record his legitimate gameplay.

I have played with and against this player several times. Never did I suspect hacking of any sort, but what Mevtic described sounded suspicious for sure. I am wondering Mevtic, since you have gunned for me several times, how does it compare? I know I have a knack for finding enemies in treelines. Usually not because I actually saw them, but because I saw a bullet tracer or was killed from there earlier or a red dot on map. Then i hit Q periodically along the treeline or wherever and often it will light them up. As soon as an enemy is spotted, they are an easy target for a chopper with the right angle. Then I looked at the stats page kakaroto linked and that did not look good at all. Here is my page for comparison, granted it was years ago and I have improved since then, but still got plenty of accusers in those times.

It's his KPM with SAW in particular that just looks way too high. I'll be paying closer attention to him from now on.

I remember playing against you rather than with you at one point — you can be a serious pain! :-P
I wouldn't really think you suspicious for finding enemy in treeline. Players (especially snipers when their team is in trouble) like to congregate there. It'd be my first go-to spot and, even as your gunner, if you hit someone there unspotted, I'd probably just shrug it off as luck as there's almost always someone there from the Russian team when they don't have base B.

When I was gunning for ULTRA, we were flying over B facing straight ahead. The first infantry he went for were on right hills maybe half way from treeline to B. When he turned around for the others, they were left of B wind turbine between the trees and start of UAV hill. At no point even after he started shooting they were spotted. My first instinct before shooting is to spot, but even as he was shooting I couldn't see anyone. They were not shooting so there were no vapor trails to give their location away. Those two spots are just way too random for someone to shoot and hit someone by pure dumb luck. I wouldn't have been so certain he's using something or even suspected him otherwise.

I saw that ULTRA is a username on the forum when he signed up to appeal a ban (for server disruption. it's what Admins use for users suspected of using hacks). I think him seeing this thread will ruin any chance of us actually catching him in the act. He may be careless but I doubt he's stupid, so he'll probably be more careful playing on in squads or partnering with someone in heli.

It just hit me that you are minichaingun. I've played with and against you. Wasn't there another player with a similar name you used to play with?
