I've seen that there was a post on this before, but many people are still complaining (I being one of them). I play on the bhop server, and noticed that the air accelerate is extremely low. Based on current map records and personal bests, I'm fairly confident that this was not always the case and that something happened and the air accelerate was changed back to default.
The air accelerate should ideally be 1000+. A concern I've heard mentioned about doing this is that the times would be reset. You do not need to reset the timer, or the server to do this. Even if you did reset the times, many are cheated and it would probably not be a bad idea to consider doing this anyways.
I'm hoping you will reconsider this request.
