How/Why did you join eGO?

Not sure if this post has been made before but lets take a shot! I like hearing peoples stories, so my question is how did you come across eGO and why did you decide to join?

Personally, I was just playing on random prophunt servers and eGO's prophunt server was the second server I had tried. I enjoyed the people within the community and decided to play there more often. Soon my friend had joined eGO and got me to join with him. Now here I am in eGO, still loving the community as I meet new people.

Joined eGO due to the merge with Prestige Gaming, but I joined Prestige Gaming since it was like a week before summer started and I started to get myself involved in a community t o spend my time for the summer, and decided to stick around.

Came across it in early 2012 when searching for random Dustbowl servers, shortly after I had gotten TF2. 11 year old me liked the respectful, family-friendly rules and it was history from there.

I came to eGO because of the merge, but i?ll Just tell you how I joined pG instead.

It all happened when I played on the pG 2fort server, just having fun, ?sniping? some people, and I just saw in the chat about looking for mature admins, so I joined on July 10, 2017, pretty good people I met, then on August 31, I got promoted to Junior, and I requested my tf2 training and SuperBoy trained me for it , pretty cool guy, and so after that I just started doing my admining in Tf2, it was a blast.

Well, i joined eGO because pG merged, but as to how i found out about pG, it was the only english jailbreak server with decent popularity on csgo, and i was up for some jailbreak.

I joined eGO at in early 2010. On Insurgency there were a few servers and the eGO ones were the most popular - dust2 was the best one. Another player saw me on there a few times and asked me if I wanted to join up, so I did. Made some nice friends and stuck around. I took a hiatus for a bit, but came back to play Planetside 2 again for a while. After that, another small hiatus, before I returned and went to the DoD division.

I joined edgegamers due to the merge but i joined prestige gaming due to the friendly community and great servers

I joined my first eGO server in 2009, and officially joined the community in 2010.

I took a biiiig break from about 2011 to 2016~.
I joined Jailbreak for fun, to see what had happened to it after all these years. This is where I met Black Angel, who I remembered from way back when, and who was also just coming back from her break. We instantly clicked and she convinced me to "join back".
Here I am.

I take month long breaks, and I get bored easily - but when I'm here, I'm here.

I started playing on the eGO TTT server in early 2017 because of how vanilla the server field and less toxic than other servers and just a friendly feeling around. Sadly I wish I could go back to that server as the current one doesn't feel like that anymore.

I joined eGO when I was just browsing looking for a server to play and it looks l ike I found the community that I had always wanted, so I stayed.

I joined eGO because of the merger, but I'll tell how I joined pG. I one day got bored of simply playing comp game after comp game. I was browsing some !ws servers and came across the pG jail server. I joined but it turned out it didn't have it at the time. I occasionally came back and fell in love with the community (who else remembers in cell commands and when vipinthemix wasn't the most rebel-heavy map?). I joined January 1st 2017 (thanks Ark for referring me) and became a recruit. I didn't really try to further myself in the community, just wanted the cool -pg- tag and be a member. Eventually I was a regular in the server. Took a break from October 2017 to about April 2018 to focus on my junior year of high school (took tons of AP's and college classes at local uni) and finally got back into the groove around April end. Then the merger occurred, and I immersed myself in the eGO community. Showed myself to the community and now I'm a junior admin

Like many others, I joined eGO due to the merger, but I am more then happy to share my totally not interesting and half-assed story on how I came across pG. Was bored one day and was looking through the community servers to find a new game mode to try out. Eventually I came across Jailbreak and decided to give it a shot, I was really confused at first and didn't know many of the rules but the more I played the more I learned and the better I got at rebelling. No lifed Jailbreak for a month or two then went inactive for a bit, came back 7 months ago and been no lifing it ever since.

I was trying to join a surf server but I kept scrolling down until I saw "Jailbreak." This was during pG early may 2017. When I saw Jailbreak I was immediately curious as I had never played any community game modes besides surf and bhop. I was strictly a competitive player at mg2. I join jailbreak, had no clue what the **** was going on at first and then I started getting extremely good at rebelling. I began averaging 10-20 kills as a terrorist per game and learned every secret on every map within 2 months. Then I was banned for a year. Now I'm banned for 2 weeks. GG.

I started playing on JB in like December of 2016. It's been a rough road to get here, but it was fun. I had multiple 'quits' and friends who 'quit', got bannned and actually quit. It's been fun. Duny, if you're still out there, I miss you. ʕ ?ᴥ?ʔ

I came from the merge but will definitely stay for a long time! PG was my first server on CS:GO so it's natural I stayed there.

I was browsing through the CSGO servers back in July of 2016 and found the TTT Server. I fell in love with it and the people were friendly. I quickly became friends with a bunch of people, so I decided to join the community.

Simon told me there was a Minecraft server and so joined. (that's about all, it's not an exciting story )

Began playing on eGO servers back in '08/'09. Found our Jail server through some old connections of a different group, and decided to give it a shot. ultimately got revoked from Ct for having no ****ing clue what i was doing, and loved it since then. After a few years as a pub, joined in 2012, and was a part of it for nearly 6 years, through multiple transitions of leadership, servers and even across games.

I joined because it was a place of solitude in the toxic communities that were CS at the time. no bullying, cursing and heavilly enforced rules were a godsend almost, and i can be the 14 year old kid that i was without be ridiculed.

Boy how times have changed.

Ubermaniac got me hooked up while play on the eGO CS TTT server, after that just a month later I get promoted by Legend then TTT turned into ma baby.
