Quite a while ago, back when pg was still a thing and ego decided to go and merge with pg and whatnot. There was an update in the bhop server in CS:GO which caused the servers Air Acceleration to be changed and it literally makes any other records unbeatable unless it was either a new skip or just a very lucky run. It by default set it to 150 which is technically a normal air acceleration but affected bhop a lot just because no one can get enough speed for runs.
Im just saying that this is a high priority due to the fact that vast majority of players tend to complain and ask what the air acceleration on the server is and no one plans on telling the tech team or whoever has power over servers to go and change the air acceleration.
So I figured I might aswell just put this thread down and make it high priority since this has been going on for what seems to me to be over a year now.
This problem can't really be proved otherwise, and im sure a lot of you know what the air acceleration on a server can do to a player if it is set to default than it is set to 1000. Basically meaning that no one can get speed which makes the bhop server fairly worse, although it has players, a lot of the more experienced ones will notice that something is wrong with the air acceleration like if I could do a 260 long jump with 1000 air acceleration, I can't do even a mere 240 long jump with default acceleration.
This is probably my only example for this, however the problem seems to be noticed by at least 1 person everytime i hop on and I always tell them that the server owners or tech team is probably too lazy to simply fix the air acceleration on the server, which makes eGO in general look really bad if they have all these new players have their first experience in bhopping on a normal air acceleration instead of getting a newer feeling.
