Sounds like some entitled Ts to me...

Back in my day we had to make our guns out of the metal frame and mattress springs while walking in the snow to the prison up hill both ways...
 
I'm like 100% sure in pg we allowed T's to have toy guns with warden's consent but I didn't have any feeling on it either way.
 
Honestly, In my opinion, all it will do is confuse ts.
Reason 1- What happens if there are 2 of the same weapon, one loaded from a dead ct, and one with no ammo. At that point, both of them count as guns, so you cant tell which is which.
Reason 2- A toy gun is still a GUN | Like said earlier, if you hold it out for more than 3 seconds, is KOS. I think that all this will do is cause confusion and accusations and more toxicity.
Reason 3- I have never encountered an incident where a toy gun just plays off as a toy gun, you either get st, which in turn delays the round. So you COULD say that a toy gun is just a delay, which is what it is :P
 
Toy guns is a weird subject with jailbreak because on this sever no mater if the gun has zero ammo it still count it as gun plant i just which a pistol with zero bullets would not count as a gunplant
 
If you can make a plug-in that re textures empty guns into nerf guns it should be a thing.

I have a semi off-topic question regarding this.

You say that giving someone a toy-gun is gunplanting - but what if I want to do a guntoss competition? Obviously with a, or multiple empty guns.
Is this not allowed, since it's considered gunplanting?
 
you'd have to ask someone else because i got swapped for a toy gun incident. If you're warden I guess it's fine. Only one who can drop them anyway I'm pretty sure.
 
the warden should be ready to do this if they have given permission for one to exist in the first place.
 
sopheyy sopheyy if you want to do a gun toss most maps now have bombs that dont explode and are colored that can be used for this. Not all maps have it but some do. Plus this is different because it is being used for a game and not just to give a t an empty weapon. For the game i would allow it but giving a t an empty gun for no reason is there really a point?
 
This was allowed back in the day, when cts weren't that cancer and when there were cooler admins.

Overall
Allowing toy guns will complicate the rules and can lead to server disruption. In order to fix these things, we would have to implicate even more rules or add to Tech Team?s workload when they are already busy fixing the servers. This new rule is also part void as Ts can hold out contraband.
