I like this one more than the last one it seems easier to navigate and easier to see every thing that is going on. But as some people have already said i think the problem will be people not registering into the CAD if we could find some way to get all of the players to register i think it'd be worth making the switch.

I like the way it looks and the additional features for EMS are great. I don't think we should stop exploring other options. Currently, it is such a hassle to get people into the CAD I think streamlining that process should be the first priority in selecting a new CAD.

If we could have a cad that pulled from the database without actually having to make people register I’d be fine with it. It would be so much easier for players to make the character and it automatically be dumped into the CAD which wouldn’t require everyone to constantly remind the players to register. What would also be nice is when a player purchases a vehicle it too is automatically dumped into the DMV portion of the CAD. I personally think we need to keep exploring options till we find the best selection for our community and playerbase as a whole.

My concern is still getting people to register for it. About 1 of 10 people I pull over on a traffic stop is registered...

I made this suggestion in the thread about harsher impound rules and i'll suggest it here again. If we could make it so only mechanics and police could release impounded cars (or a separate felony impound) we could implement a rule that one could only retrieve their vehicle if they and their vehicle was registered in the CAD. I believe that would help build the CAD database and also make more people think before they decided to go 200mph in the city.

Maybe if there was a way to implement a pop-up browser during the initial joining of the server to register for the CAD? Could be resource heavy and buggy, but a way to try to get people to join the CAD. Kinda weed out those trying to ruin legitimate RP and such by just causing havoc.
