Yeah i was playing WoW for ever back like 3 months ago.. But didn't know if wanted to get in to some thing like that again. Cause after a while you get to max level and just play for a while and get bored.

I've finally figured out what my main is, but it was literally the last class I tried and before that I switched back and forth every half hour or so.

I think I've finally settled on the necro, a little tough to do at first, but rewarding over-all, just got mine half-way through 19 earlier...and yeah, if we're all on Omm or whatever we can make a clan guild or somethin' similar I reckon'.

Kinda silly to realize now, but we should list our character's names and servers so we can locate each other.

I am on the Cimmeria server. (38 atm?) and have been doing the beta

I still don't know whether I should pick a PvP server or not. I have a 20 Herald on Bane, the cultural PvP server, and I'm deathly afraid of the FFA pvp servers, so I dunno.

I was tempted to try a cultural PvP server.

But I have little doubt it will go down like every PvP server ever. People with no jobs and no lives massacring people who play the game in their spare time.

I checked out Cimmeria a bit ago, the community there seems much more active than the other servers, going to try out a few more classes while I'm at it, rolling a demonlogist now. If that doesn't pan out I'm probably going to re-roll another Herald or Tempest on Cimmeria.

Set is pretty active and has only once devolved into petty childish squabbling twice in the week I've been playing.

2 Questions:

1.) What's the difference between Cultural PVP and FFA PVP?

2.) What's the monthly fee gonna wind up being?

Right now theirs minimal difference but the way it's supposed to work is:

In cultural PvP you can only attack members of the opposing race, you can still group and converse with anyone normally though.

In FFA PvP you can attack anyone of any level of any culture of any class at any point and any place...it's a "clusterf*ck" so to say. You can still group and chat with anyone as well though.

Unfortunately the rules for the Cultural PvP don't work quite right at the moment so if you're grouped with, say, a Stygian, and someone of your race, Cimmerian, attacks them, you can't fight them back.

Also, the fee is 14.99 USD, you get your first month free with purchase of course.

Well, fees sound like standard MMO fare then. I make a server choice when I actually get the game then. Any suggestions?
