KPop Thread

[care]

.

I've been listening to KPop for a couple years now and I personally enjoy it. I haven't really met those that enjoy it aswell on CS:GO yet. However, I heard Gmod has a couple people that do, so I thought I'd make a thread where anyone could share KPop songs.

Here is some KPop for first listeners

Anime Vibe

Dreamcatcher - YOU AND I

GFRIEND - Navillera

Any song by these two groups should satisfy your anime power.

Bright and Cute

TWICE - Likey

Apink - Chu

Odd Vibe?

MOMOLAND - Bboom Bboom

MOMOLAND - Baam Baam

American Vibe

CHUNG HA - Roller Coaster

CHUNG HA - Love U

Extra

BLACKPINK - DDU DU DDU DU

PRISTIN V - Get It

I.O.I - Very Very Very

Yes I'm prepared to get hate for this.

Does music from anime sort of fall into the k-pop category?

So most anime have Japanese intros since they mainly originate from Japan. Kpop is Korean so anime intros would most likely fall under Jpop.

I don't listen to a lot of Kpop but I do like SHINee - Lucifer , Dreamcatcher - Goodnight , and BIGBANG - Fantastic Baby. As for anime intros which would technically fall under Jpop more than Kpop, I love the intro for Tokyo Ghoul, I also love Jonathan Young's English version of it. There are so many intros I just love to death.

I could go all day with anime intros as a playlist alone. Now I need to make a j-pop thread I guess

Jpop or just anime intros in general, I know I'm always looking for more amazing anime intros, as well as animes to watch. I'd love to see your recommendations for animes and intros.

Check out this thread, I've had it going for about a year now. Feel free to post what you're currently watching or ask for any recommendations!

Me <3 Kpop. Also being Korean helps, even if I don't speak it.

I got over 300 Kpop and Jpop videos in a youtube music playlist that I keep adding onto.

List of groups to try:
Mamamoo
Red Velvet
GFriend
BTS
BigBang
TWICE
2NE1
Sistar
Girls Generation
After School
Orange Caramel
EXO
EXO-K (Subgroup of EXO; there's another called EXO-C)
Taeyeon (also a member/leader of Girls Generation)
PSY
BlackPink
4Minute
Brown Eyed Girls
Taeyang (Ringa Linga is a fun song to listen to!)
EXID
LU:KUS
I.O.I.
GOT7
Super Junior
AOA (even though she left, Choa is the prettiest one IMO)
Sunmi
Hyloyn (Member/leader of Sistar; went solo after Sistar)
F(x)
T-ARA
Crayon Pop
J.Y. Park (Not only a multi-generational singer who has been around for decades, but also owner/manager of JYP Entertainment, which several other Kpop groups belong to, Twice being one of the most popular, current groups now)
SHINee
KARA (First Kpop group I ever listened to; sad that they disbanded)
AKMU (Amazing brother/sister duo)
Girl's Day
SEVENTEEN
Fiestar
Dalshabet
Hyuna (former member of 4Minute (group disbanded); amazing solo artist)
CLC
Lee Hyori (one of the biggest Kpop stars that created the foundation of what Kpop is today for female groups)
Co-ed School
Bestie
Dreamcatcher (different take on Kpop; originally made to be more of a rock-pop group. Give Good Night a listen)
HelloVenus
Lovelyz

I can go on and on and on... Another thing for those interested in Kpop is to watch two shows. The older one that set the standard for Kpop variety shows is Weekly Idol where the hosts interview guests to talk about their new song, do their "random dance" game, and other funny activities. However, there was a split with the hosts and the television network so they left and made a new show with their original crew (that the old network wanted to fire) on a new TV network called Idol Room. More of the same but with some new quirks and games. Give both shows a try.
