Hey guys! tea here. Im just curious what it takes to be promoted to EG and what I have to do to work towards that

When it comes getting promoted to eG, it is something that can take some a few weeks and a few months for others. Don't let that discourage you though. Simply put, just being around and being active in the servers and teamspeak is a great start. Are you someone actively trying to help fill servers and get others to join? If so, that's awesome and keep it up! Are you attending events? If not, it's a great way to meet people outside of the standard servers. A lot of it comes down to your attitude and mindset. People simply looking for a promotion only to get admin powers are not likely to receive a promotion. However, those that truly want to help make the servers and community better are on a much faster track.

As you can see, there are numerous ways to get noticed and receive your promotion. However, keep in mind that there are ways to NOT get promoted as well. Are you the type of player to spam "OMG FREEKILL FREKILL BAN THEM FREEKILLER!!111ONEONE11!!1EXCALMATIONPOINT1!!" in chat after being killed on the Jail server? Or do you take a different approach by simply letting the admins know "Hey, Mayhem Death just freekilled me. Do you mind keeping any eye on him?" How you choose to conduct yourself will impact how people see you and, in turn, impact your prospects of being promoted.

It's great that you are showing interest, and that's always very important! Just keep in mind that being promoted is a privilege, not a right. It can be taken away if you do not treat it as such.

Completely this. To add to what Mega said, make sure to attend as many events as possible. The EC team hosts a great variety of events with usually 3-5 a week. From my own experience, they are the easiest and most fun way to get to know others in the community and especially those within our division.

This is a combination of what i?ve observed from oG and eGO, and what my friends told me.

- Be mature, not only when leadership is online, but at all times, as this will get your name circulating.
- Be active in TS, forums and discord.
- Have admin friends.
- Report hackers, cheaters and disrespectful people (those who aren?t following rules).
