Counter-Strike Global Offensive Jail Server My one month experience in eGO JB servers...

As summer is coming to an end for me shortly, I decided to write this one month review about all the ups and downs I had with you all in my first month being with you guys. For sure, I loved it here, and since I'm just a high school student, there are many things for me to focus on than video games and cs everyday, though I will try to make it every weekend on the JB . Anyways I guess this post can be helpful and useful to everyone. For admins to watch these things next time and for members to learn from their mistakes and fix them. And even for imrovements on things that were really fun and great.

More for the admins on this one, I know living in Saudi Arabia, studying in the UK are two very different time zones, though when I'm usually in the morning in Saudi it's 4:35 am in New york, though most of you may not live there it is just an example of how different of time zones we are in. And when I play during this time, I see people I dont usually see in the "peak hours of the JB server." Not only do I notice this but I notice that there are not many admins in this timezone. Well this is something all of you guys should consider of applying people and promoting pople for admin also based on their timezone *hint hint * #mister4admin And yes I have seen many instances where there are mass fks, mass mic spams, and ofc racism occurs a lot. Though I stopped playing this hour due to the toxicity there is.

I guess that is the only downside I can really say because it is surely one of the est jb servers there are out there! Keep the toxicity levels with vayz down please and lets have fun as a gaming community and enjoy spending time with each other. Its been . fun meeting a lot of great people and admins.

You should try and recruit the good players that are on at that time to hopefully see them promoted and help out more They can submit ban requests too.

I've suggested adding a script to auto-ban users when they first connect to the server, but it's never gotten any traction.

On a more serious note, back in my leadership days, TF2 had this covered. We had not just O's but advisors around the globe. Need BAT but you don't get off work until 7pm...in Mumbai? We had you covered. We even had events specifically timed for our EU members. It made it hard to get all of division leadership together in Ventrillo, but we made do. However, this is all on an organizational level and doesn't really help the lone e in the field.

What can the MisterPrez's of the world do on a personal level? Find Gs and Os active when you are and add them to your Steam friends. Doesn't matter if they aren't regulars of the same server or map you are. Doesn't even matter if they are in another division or play different games than you. I'm a TF2 guy (cuz I LOVE hats) but I had DoD, CS, INS, BF2, and CoD all installed, even though I rarely played them (not having hats and all). Need help? Call on one of them. Most admins will jump at a chance to help. Some will even stick around for a bit after dealing with the immediate concern. A few will even become regulars just for the bans. I remember loitering in a particularly rowdy INS server just to meet my ban quota for the month. This will also get you noticed as someone who cares and that's the first step to a promotion.

Please don't try to handle it yourself. There were few things I liked less than joining an out-of-control server only to find it got that way because an e started threatening people for minor infractions. Take notes, call for help, and (via Steam or other non-server chat) identify targets for the admin when they arrive. Think about it this way: if you see an armed robbery at the house across the street, you call the police. But you don't walk over there and say "yous guys shouldn't be robbing this place. That's against rules. I'mma call the police and get yous all arrested."

That's my one serious post for the year. I'll now return you to your hatless divisional conversation.
