Right now to my knowledge there are no restrictions to the luck chances in JB. This leads to BS games that wardens do often leaving one or no one receiving LR (Literally of the point of the gamemode)

Here's an example of the game:
You have 9+ or less Ts. You bring them to colors and tell them 1 color will live.
  • If you have exactly 9 Ts, 1 will live (assuming warden forced 1 T per Color)
  • if you have less than 9 Ts, there's a chance no one gets LR
  • If you have more than 9 Ts, you can imagine the majority of them will die off. (The game gives you an 11% of survival) ~ zarmati the creator of this game, and you could in theory make it have even lower chances.

My Suggestion:
Have a certain limit on the lowest chance of surviving (25%, 50%, 75% = To keep it easy)
Because right now when some wardens get creative it just creates a very toxic climate

Wardens that do this and "Primary, Secondary, Melee, Nade" are garbage wardens. A limit to something like 50% would be great.

Forgot about that one as well that for sure knocks out majority without a ghost

Point of the game mode is to rebel and kill all the CTs, if as a T you get to LR, you lost the round. Its been this way since 2008... I don't understand people that have this mindset that getting to LR is a win for Ts/that player, its not...

Not every T will rebel (actually majority of them wont), most want LR to individually kill CTs or do their own custom games and with wardens being very cancerous you'll have mass stacks of Ts dying in one game either ending the round very quickly or having it stretched out so long that most Ts are dead spectators for 4-5 minutes.

also some maps are very hard to rebel on (Jb_Clouds, Ba_mlcastle)

Different people want different things out of the game. And even those who want to rebel want to have at least some fun while waiting for their chance.

I mean you right, I can't tell people how to play the game mode. The games are mainly so the Ts can be moved to help eliminate them and give them some time to plan a rebellion. However, based on what I've seen, CTs eliminate a majority of Ts in cell block or with the first game then two or three games that are text based instead of using the activities on the maps so the Ts can rebel (provided the map allows for that).

Lastly, the game mode still has a defined definition that to win the Ts should eliminate all CTs or plant the bomb and let it detonate (old school maps) while the CTs should quickly eliminate the Ts through killing rebels, losers in multiple games, then getting to an LR which achieves the result of the CTs winning as at that point the T cannot win (usually cannot win, sure if theres 3 CTs they have a chance with their LR, but in reality they're on their last meal and about to be executed on death row).

Play how you want for all I care, but the defined definition of Jail/Jailbreak/Jb, has been what I wrote above for a decade if not more now...

First.
"usually cannot win, sure if theres 3 CTs they have a chance with their LR, but in reality they're on their last meal and about to be executed on death row"

Gun Toss

Second.
What is your stance on this issue, considering you do have JB experience and on pG there would be advisors that barely touch JB and seem to know everything about it.

The more CTs alive at LR decreases the Ts chance at surviving to the next round. Point is by definition LR means CTs eliminated the Ts and they have no way of overthrowing the guards and taking over the prison. Yes CSGO counts a complete team elimination as a win but you can?t override that without doing that via the map itself or a plugin.

About the issue, we didn?t really have chance based games that weren?t part of the map. But in general games were only allowed to kill 66% of the participating Ts unless there was under 6.

We tried to not have / use text based games unless it was for the few (< 6 Ts remaining) to give them more of an interesting and interactive experience. Really tho just try to put yourself in their shoes and find something fun and interesting not just static and boring.

I think putting a rule on this isn?t really going to solve anything. If the warden wants to add a greater chance of survival for Ts they can. They always have that option. However, putting a restricition on something that is luck based just doesn?t make sense where luck based games are something that isn?t supposed to be controlled. For example: roulette. If all ts but one go to the red side and red dies the one on blue gets lr. That?s what really makes it luck based. However, forcing T?s to split up in half just seems pointless and ruins the purpose of luck based games.

The rule isn't meant to change wardens or solve a problem but to make the warden less toxic in some cases. The whole point of when the 50% rule first came out was pG leadership wanted wardens to engage in more custom games and that gave them very little limits to what they can't do, this is just a limit to how far wardens can go

Here's what's wrong with your roulette logic. They had an equal chance of surviving either option and they lost, if the all the Ts wanted to stack onto one color that's their own freewill. But if you do something like the colors game regardless of having freewill, the chance of surviving that is impossible especially if there are 9 players and only 1 survives.

Ima just put this out there.

The more rules you add, the less creativity is allowed and in turn people have less fun.

Yeah I bet it does, but you know its ok if masses of Ts die at once in one shitty game when a warden wants to be "creative"

Servers 52/52 a majority of prime time (afternoons to night & weekends). Looks like people don't care if that happens. At this point unless the server population starts declining just let them do whatever they want... They like being able to be whiny, angry, and miserable so, why stop them?

There should be a healthy mix between rebelling and playing games. A map like vipinthemix is so rebel heavy the round is basically over with all the CT's dead in the first 3 minutes. Other maps like jailberd where at times the T's can't rebel (looking at the glass top for anyone going AWP) are also unfair. That's why maps like minecraft or dojo or undertale get played so often: it's a healthy mix between rebelling and CT's not being massacred every 5 seconds

So you promote cancerous CTs who shoot Ts for the slightest of reasons? The population doesn't go down so nothing needs to be changed? No one likes to play a gamemode where you can die 2 minutes in because 1 luck based game, and when the lucky Ts that do get LR or whatever they will stretch it out till the 30 second mark. Making new players want to leave and join another server like TW or SG

Um?

I hate this myself. I really, REALLY hate it.
But it doesn't happen THAT often, so I guess it's just learning to live with it.

Ye, you right. 10 years on Jail, all of it to help kill it. Ya caught me, ya caught the jail killer. Those 4000+ hours making Jail maps, just a ruse to help kill it. The 4000+ hours on CS:S and CS:GO jail, all part of the plan to help kill it. Those 4 years as Jail advisor for eGO, all lies, just wanted to kill it. Damn, ya finally caught me when no one else has.

Jailbreak is rank 6 of all CSGO servers in the world. Obviously the majority of the player base is fine with the current rule set and current games allowed. You seem in the minority.

Maybe, just maybe, when you're warden, don't play games you hate and encourage people to do better. We can add rule after rule to the server, but in the end, it doesn't even matter if the player base and admins on the server do not adhere to them...
