Guns

I'd forgotten about the Barett .50 BMG rifle. Holy freaking cow is that a scene to behold. Video doesn't do it justice. I had earplugs and ear protectors on and it was still loud. You could feel the thing go off, too. Twice I watched the barrel just to see the muzzle flash, which was impressive. The result in the range's bullet stopping berm was impressive, too.

I would not want to be hit by a .50 BMG round, no matter what the platform firing it might be. I would absolutely want one if I were going up against a bear... =)

I have shot .22 rifles, 12 and 20 gauge shotguns. My dad has 30-30, a 12 gauge bolt action mossburg , and a 12 guage Remington pump. He also has 1 semi auto .22 and a single round .22, and a .22 pistol.

I plan on picking up a 12 gauge pump for the skeet range

Mosin-Nagant, SKS, Ak-47 underfolder, Winchester 1897 12ga, Barret 82A, I forgot the type .22mag, Rem 700, Rem shotgun (forgot the type), AR-15, Lee-Enfield (.303), Charles Daly VR-MC (pump shotty), I forgot the type .50 muzzle loader, Desert Eagle, Beretta 9mm (forgot the model), Springfield XD 9mm.

I think thats all. Might be forgetting a couple.

Ive shot my uncles .22 handgun it was loud (my firts real gun shot ever) and then he shot his glock, me ears were gone

My favorite weapon to shoot was either the Mah Duece or the AT4. The AT4 is not really a gun, its more of a shoulder fired rocket that annhilates anything it contacts.

I own a sig and a 20 gauge shot gun. Love my Sig

i have 5-6 shotguns (most pump) a couple big bore rifles, and couple .22's.
1. riot shotgun (12)
2. pump shotgun (12)
3. pump shotgun (12)
4. single shot (.410)
5. single shot (20)

1. 7mm winchester magnum
2. 270 bolt action
3. Yugo SKS (assult rifle)

and as i said a couple of .22's not worth metioning :)

2 Quick notes.
I scoff at monkey because .45 is better than 9mm :-P
and 2 the SKS is NOT an assault rifle.

I need to stop living in NYC

i shot a Barret .50 cal. gave me a huge bruise
[/quote1211895165]

But was completely worth it.

that ak-47 that i shot about 4 years before i shot it recently, threw me onto the ground, very embarrasing

Single coolest gun I've ever shot: H&K MP5 on full auto. Perfectly legal in GA. The range I rented it from also had a Thompson, but I opted to shoot the MP5 instead since 9mm is cheaper than .45 and I could share the ammo with my hand gun.

Own: 9mm Taurus PT111 Millenium

Shot: The MP5
Smith & Wesson SW99 in .40
Sig P229 in .40 (I think)
WWII-era, government issued, nickel plated Colt 1911 <--- second coolest gun I've shot
9mm Glock (Glock 19 I think)
10mm Glock
.40 Glock
Colt Python in .357 Magnum
A 1911 copy that I can't remember
Keltec 380
A .22 match pistol
A .44 Magnum revolver
A .50 Caliber black powder rifle (loaded by a Louisiana redneck using 50% more powder than recommended)
SKS
A few .22 LR rifles (can't remember the models)
A pump action 12 Gauge, and a pump Action 20 Gauge, both Remmington

Out of all of the guns that I've shot, I've mostly only shot handguns within recent memory. Out of all of those, I've got to say that the genuine 1911 is probably my favorite. I was the first person to shoot the gun in about 10 years, and was able to score a grouping of about 6 inches at 20 yards. The trigger pull is smooth as butter, and the gun just feels right.

As for my Taurus, it's an OK gun. It actually packs a bit of recoil due to it's light weight and 3.something" barrel. I actually find the larger, slightly heavier guns easier to handle. (With the exception of the .357 Magnum..)

I really would like to give a Beretta a try as my next gun, but I just have too much else that I'd rather spend my money on.
