Recently, I've seen more and more people spraying stack. But I'm not talking about stack spraying preventions, I'm talking about how to react to it and what to do. Recently, some CT's have been killing T's just for running away while someone is spraying stack and AFK Freezing. I'm asking to try to input a rule where if someone is spraying stack, people can be allowed to run away (common sense, of course, so if they run toward armoury that's open or a secret you can still kill them etc.) without the cts killing them. I feel it doesn't make the experience fun for the T's to have to stay in the marker while you're dying or run and die anyways. Let me know your opinions on this. Thanks!

Yeah I've made a thread pretty close to this. Apparently it isnt K.O.S to run away from a stack spray but people still get killed for it. Idk.

While I totally agree with you about bad cts I think there is no need to make a totally separate rule about this. This is common sense stuff and if I'm on and someone kills people who run away I'll probably just swap them or ctban for server disruption. The goal of the game is to get to lr or rebel, not to get killed for some stupid thing so the cts need to chill out and stop being cancer.

Common sense from the cts is all that's needed

It shouldn't be this hard

Yeah, I'll accept responsibility for this becoming an issue.
Regardless, there does not need to be a specific rule. How do you define a stack spray, an MFK? If so, say someone misfires an AWP and collat kills 3 people who were not rebelling. That means anyone could run away because it was a "stack spray." Common sense is a CT rule and so if this happens, they need to be swapped for "Lack of Common Sense." I am unsure as to why this rule is literally never enforced, because the server would be so much better if it was.

Yeah ok but this is so that if there is no admins, you can actually say there is a rule that allows you just to run away or to kill the sprayer.

The rule would be explained more in depth , like if someone with a p90 comes in and kills like 6 people than its obviously a stack spray. Also its very obvious if someone does it by accident or if they don't.

I've actually seen some very well concealed stack sprays. I remember once on VIPinthemix there was a CT who grabbed an awp to do it, you might think it was a bad choice. He literally mowed down a solid 15 people over the course of a minute without anyone realizing a stack spray was taking place. Then when there was about 15 people left, he grabbed an AK and finished the stack.

The rule is never enforced because it is never publicly stated by any admins. The entire time I've ever played the server, I've never seen an admin say that it's a rule. I think that when the server is full, an admin or AT needs to make a public statement about how if stack is sprayed, T's can be allowed to run away, in common sense of course, without CT's shooting them. The rule can then be spread by mouth throughout JB players. I think that if a statement were made, the rule would be enforced, because a lot of people think that it's only "cancer" when they do it and not against the rules, yet it is. It's quite easy to tell apart an MFK and an accidental kill or two. I'm not saying the rule can't be loopholed, but people saying they ran away because they thought it was a stack spray even though it wasn't should be KOS. Because it's not hard to tell apart an MFK and an accidental kill or two. Common sense, just like you stated in your post.

I'd like to see an admin actually make a public statement about it on the server, anytime. The rule would spread by word of mouth.

Like the 50 damage rule which does not exist, so CT's now intentionally freedamage people and then say it wasn't over 50. Word of mouth rules is bad for the server. I also do not see the point of this at all, why go by this? Unsaid rules hold no ground in a rule argument, if this was going to be a rule then it would need to be in the rule book. I have many successful reports against admins who enforce unsaid rules.

You can link threads in chat and be like

'Yo read this suggestion that states:
CTs need to stop being pricks when people are trying to not get mass freekilled'

and then if they want to continue, just condump and grab a demo/screenshot and request a ban and post something around the likes of :

'Some dude started to mass free kill and some Ts tried to not be killed by said CT and some rude CTs shot them when they knew the guy was mass freekilling'.

It isn't called server disruption for nothing and thats what both the mass freekiller and the CTs shooting people trying to not be freekilled are doing.

Obviously, Ts should NOT abuse the running / hiding from the mass freekiller(s) and then rebelling. Really they should see it as a pause in the round until the situation is handled.

That's a issue that also needs talked about in its own, when this happens prisoners should not be allowed to continue rebelling. If it's server disruption for a CT to kill a hiding T, then it should be server disruption if a T rebels and kills rule compliant CTs in the event of a stack spray, or stays hidden after admins took care of the situation.

Obvious exceptions would be if a T was already rebelling before the stack spray happened. This is targetted to people who would use a stack spray to rebel.

It's a lot easier to find the CTs disrupting the server than the Ts. Plus I mean its recommended they don't rebel as everything's already chaotic but if they are and they're killed they can't complain for being killed even during the chaos.

This will just cause more issues. It's such a unique and non-common situation that it's not necessary. Literally it causes more issues because people will be like 'I wasn't running to armory, I was running to maze' or something like that.

Yeah yeah but it?s still a rule in the rules section of the forums which means it has to be enforced. When admins don?t catch these really simple things it can be a pain in the ass for everyone else in the server.

I mean look at how when abdul said that if the t's are looking directly down you can NOT shoot the heads that are up , look how that went. Nobody shoot's the heads, and if they do they get swapped for shooting stack.

Also the point of this rule is so that cancer/killhungry ct's don't kill t's for just trying to runaway from the spray when there is NO admins at all. When there's an admin everything will be sorted out, but whenever there isnt an admin than thats when the problem begins. For example if a new player kills people for being out of the marker and doesnt understand what's happening with the stack spray. Some new players actually read the rules , and with this rule implemented than they would understand what's happening and they would not kill these people.

This something so when there will be no admins on. When there will be an admin on during the spray he wil sort everything out.

This sounds like something that, even if you make it a rule, these players who take advantage of no admins being on will continue to take advantage of that. I'd be ban requesting them and making sure they aren't coming back, if they are being disruptive to the server.

That's sort of the main issue here, right? People doing things when they know admins aren't around?

You know, I thought about that. I've been killed for running away and freezing multiple times, and I've also seen a lot of people do it. But whenever I call them out on it, they always say it's not a rule. If I maybe had some people to back me up on it, it would be better. For example, freedamage is a rule that's often enforced, because most people on the JB server know that rule and can enforce it. However, most people on the server do NOT know that killing people for running away from stack on a stack spray is a swappable offense. Maybe if we could all share some common knowledge.
I've had multiple cases of dying while running away from stack, calling them out on it, reporting in admin chat, and nothing happens. People doing things when admins aren't around is a problem, but I'm talking about with admins on. It doesn't seem to be a common knowledge throughout people and admins.

I think it would be a good idea for possibly an admin to put in admin chat once in a while / after a stack spray, saying something along the lines of "Please don't kill the T's if they're running away from stack on a stack spray!". And then after a while of doing that maybe everyone will have the knowledge that it is a swappable offense, not just "cancer", and they won't do it anymore.
Once the rule becomes common knowledge(like for example the rule of freekilling and freedamage), It will be enforced more. Not just by the admins, but by the players too. You notice people saying "Oh you freekilled, swap." or "Oh you freedamaged stack, swap". Something like that. It's not just the admins talking about that stuff. Once the people know the person will have enough pressure to swap or will actually swap out of good will.
