So as you know the Minecraft server, or survival at least, is limited to around a 3-4k block radius centered on the spawns of the various worlds (Mineworld, Nether, regular world, etc). In The End however it takes a minimum of around 1k blocks to reach any of the outer End islands, and around 2k blocks in any direction before you encounter your first End Temple (whatever they're called with the Shulkers in them). This means that after only 1k blocks you're SOL for any treasures such as Elytra, horse armor (which you can't get anywhere else because loot chests don't appear in the regular Mineworld or Nether), and most of all the Mending enchantment. With things as spread out as they are in The End you'll be lucky if you encounter even a single additional structure after finding the first.
I know the worlds are limited in size most likely to keep the size of their files relatively small, but The End is 90% open space and whenever it isn't the 'islands' are only a few dozen blocks thick. With so much open space I'm sure there wouldn't be any harm in expanding, or outright removing, the 'end of the world' boundary that prevents you from passing that point. What do you guys thiink?
