Qwerty asked me what my Keybind was that announces how much health I have/time left/where I'm at, etc. I was going to PM him except there are 9 Qwerties and I don't know which one is him.

It's an old keybind from when I used to scrim in SLDL years ago (we scrimmed eGO once in that.. and lost).

"t" = "say_team I'm a %c at %l with %h health remaining and %t left"

the other keybind I still use is my "say_team !medic" which bites me in the butt on the eGO server as your medic makes you pause, and I hit it frequently without thinking making me a sitting duck.

What other keybinds do people use? There's at least one player who I think has a "+attack; -attack; say !resetscore" bind.. lol.

-monster

How do you make a quick key for the medic command? I've always just typed medic but fear I've worn out my keyboard doing this. LOL

I think its the same for tf2, but correct me tf2 people if I'm wrong,

Open up console, type in,

bind "enter key here, but keep the quotes" "say !medic"

Thats what would make sense for a source engine atleasr

The easiest way is to set the startup options for your game to "-console", there you have a console and can type "bind <key> <command>". So e.g.:

bind 1 "say !medic"

At least for me this keeps intact after restarting the game :)

Nidhoegger & WaSe,

Thank you both. I DID IT! I could never figure that out before. So fun....I used the "N" key.

I just have my "K" key bound to medic (Why that key, I don't know!)

This is probably stupid, but I use "say_team !medic" instead of "say !medic" otherwise the other team knows you're hurt.

Hm, I never really thought of it that way. Much smarter. I just hope the other team doesn't look at chat quick enough before I can get healed up and already killing them again

For the same reason Napolean wore a red shirt. So nobody saw if he was bleeding. Funny that hitler wore brown pants :P. (Sorry for the bad hitler joke)

Thank you monster, I always wonder what the bind command that announces how much health I have/time left/where I'm at, etc.

I usually use cl_dynamic_crosshair "0" ( I can't stand when the crosshair changes size when you are shooting.

bind . voice_takeammo
bind / voice_wtf
bind l voice_coverflanks

These are additional ones I found that I will be using.
- voice_coverflanks
- voice_enemyahead
- voice_fallback
- voice_medic
- voice_movewithtank
- voice_bazookaspotted
- voice_movewithtank
- voice_tank
- voice_wtf

The voice_wtf seems like it could be useful sometimes ;)
For crosshair, I have mine set to a tiny blue dot, so it doesn't grow. Think I did that in the gui though not with a command so not sure what the command is to set it there.
