Whats your guys opinion on the current supercars on the server

Personally, i like most of them as a civilian as they look beautiful.

FailRP wise theres way too many people going in extreme speeds within city limits for no reason. (This isnt really because of supercars at all, upping the prices on them would make it alot better and harder for people to get supercars within 2-3 hours

LSSD/COP wise in my opinion its not an "issue" just a bit annoying at times. usually a chase with supercars ends with them crashing in a wall either way.

Criminal wise Seeing people farm opium/weed in a 300000$ Car is very unrealistic and seeing people use their own 200k$+ cars running from cops crashing into multiple things is also kinda unrealistic

I think to combat the FailRP driving in the city would be to Change the handling on them, similar to the F12. Goes super fast but you're not going to be taking corners easily unless you slow down. Currently theres super cars and cars like the LC 500 which have stupid good handling and goes really fast which makes no sense. Removing the F7 menu to repair cars instantly and free would help as well because people would actually care if they crashed.

This might not really help the failRP driving much but I think if you get jailed you should receive a fine to go along with it instead of just making it a free AFK time.

When the server gets wiped and updated at some point I would like to see 2 things. Impound and Insurance, impound cars when arrested or whatever the case may be and if the car gets destroyed or something make it go to insurance. Insurance place could cost a reasonable amount then make the impound be a little bit more pricey. I'm not sure what you can set the prices to but I think that would also be something that could help and make people not want to just get arrested and their car impounded

In my opinion the whole "hey imma do 140+ in the city and run every red light, and cause huge priority chases/robberies" thing is beyond annoying and stupid at this point. I know recently we started to ever so slowly crack down on this, but it is not enough to warrant them to add in more cars; especially super cars for that matter since everyone will have them the day they get added, and the first thing they will do is do is 140+ in the city.

I think if people actually started to role play the proper way instead of constantly driving like someone is in their car dying, they might actually start adding new vehicles, or more RP things for civs to do.

making cars actually break when you hit something going 100+ and no f7 menu would help. cars take a long time to actually break and people can repair cars for free while on the move so nobody cares what they hit

I think the problem is also a cost issue, the fact that you can do chicken for 2 hours and get a LP700 is nuts. What if the vehicle gets proper destroyed, if it's in a VDM situation or a failRP situation that causes a high priority chase up mountains in the F12 or something like that.

its also nuts that the LC 500 is as OP as it is. goes super fast and has insane handling

This all would've been a non-issue if the vehicle damage script didn't break stationary vehicles

Also, since I see the F7 menu being brought up a lot, using the F7 menu during any sort of RP scenario is against server rules.

Just make it where if someone's caught felony speeding, Or doing 100+ through the city, The police have the ability to take that vehicle away from them. After shelling out big $$$ to keep replacing their super car 3-4 times, They'll start listening.

Playing as a cop on arma 2, High Speed pursuits were some of the funnest parts of being a cop. Granted our High speed pursuit vehicles had cannons attached to the roof..

Theyre fun, but its not realistic that you run off in a lamborghini from a traffic stop

If the server is ever to get a wipe of everything, then prices of vehicle should go up. Maybe not all of them but most. The Lexus which is like 200k, has the fastest acceleration but a lower top speed then the lambo. That is pretty damn OP in my books. Either prices of vehicles go up or the money outcome of jobs to go down. It needs to be balanced more.

I even feel like prices of cars have just been thrown on and to match the IRL prices of the cars. Which doesn't really help. Lambo should take about a week to get, not a day.

i agree, and the lc500 is like 89k

There isn't really anything OP about the lambo/Lexus/F12 tho. They're fast, But the Police have faster vehicles. Not to mention all three vehicles handle like Poop.

Cop vehicles do not have the highest top speed. The basic Taurus tops out at like 160 and accelerates like a boat. It's only when you're fleeing from pursuit chargers that you run into a problem, but vehicles like the f12 and lc500 are still better. Lc500 not by raw speed, but by acceleration and turning capability.

There is no deputy vehicle that can keep up with the f12 or Lamborghini open throttle

I can say the same about Highway Patrol vehicles, for the most part. I think. But, the Lexus is definitely a beast especially with the turning K KrayToast .
