Indiana Jones

i just saw it, i liked it a lot, but it was a little trippy near the end. You cant go see a movie like this with an expectation of realism especially with lucas and spielburg making it. Special effects were really increadible. they set it up for more movies to come possibly. No indiana jones movie can beat the lost arc of course, but it was a nice try. i highly suggest seeing it!
 
Its Indy... come on ... he almost had his heart pulled out and drank from the cup of christ........ The Movie was great cause they didnt hide his age tjey used it ..... and for those who gripe about the cheesy tie ins to raiders ..... remeber tjat in last crusade they had the cheesy one liner about the arc.....
 
I haven't seen but it seems another sign to me. A sign that cinema,television, and music is running out of creativity. They are resorting to digging up old franchises and seem perfectly content to throw aside the fans for another handful of cash. As for music I laugh at how many times a friend will play a 'new' song and it turns out to be some old rock song played louder, faster and crappier. That atrocitie that was the remake of Phil Collin's 'In the Air Tonight" still makes me cringe. The other day I heard someone doing Elvis' 'Suspicious Minds' and it sounded like I was singing and playing the guitar.You mess with ma Elvis I'll hurt ya!

I couldn't stand it. When I saw during the opening credits that Lucas had a writing partner, I had a small glimmer of hope shine out of my blackened heart. It quickly faded.

I can say that if you didn't like the other 3 Indy movies, you most likely won't like this one. If you did like the other three, then you have at least some chance if you can ignore Lucas' idiocy throughout the whole thing.
 
Agreed, the vines scene made me think like "Hm, that reminds me of something...or someone.... HEY WAIT A SEC, WTF!!!!".

Um, no. I loved it and I'm going to see it again today with somebody else. I went into it knowing that we're in the year 2008 and not the 80's. There's lots of CGI and unrealistic scenes many movies these days. Yeah, there were things I didn't like about this movie but I enjoyed it, my girlfriend enjoyed it, it was entertaining for us. Harrison Ford did a good job as Indy. :D

You obviously went into the movie with a closed mind. It was already bad even before you saw the opening credits.
 
Personally, I thought this movie was great. It had a lot of the things I wanted to see in an Indy movie. It's not the best Indy movie, but it is a great movie.

P.S: That was the greatest fridge. Ever.
 
I give it 7.7 out of 10 Ubers. If you cut out all of the scenes with Mutt it would be a much better movie imho. and cookies to the moviemoakers for bringing back karen allen
