new monitor

Eland Eland yea thinking about either making a wall or be encirlced by them. Need that 360 view playing games lol. And S Snipeye my new build is gunna have nvidia 1080 ti, either i9 or i7, 16gb ram, and 1tb ssd and 2 tb hdd
 
That monitor is wild. Although I sorta wish the resolution was a bit higher, perhaps. Not sure how I'd feel about using it haha.

I'd rather put in a bunch of 1TB or 2 TB's over anything huge. Larger consumer grade drives are not necessarily a good thing, I feel.

Besides, I'd much rather have a 1TB SSD over any size HDD anyday.
 
the only thing guys I'm not getting that monitor its way to big to do anything with I tested it out something similar at work and you need to turn your head to much to see the full screen I'm gunna either et a 31.5 in or 35in screen but dual. but the only thing I'm still undecided about is if I want to get the i9 or i7 any preference?

If you're not doing extreme programming, virtualization, or rendering - I think the i9 is beyond overkill. Like you'd never touch even close to it's potential. That's my thought. Processing power isn't usually the bottleneck for people these days - it's tied down in disk speeds more than anything, for most people.
 
It's huge and all, but I don't like it for gaming. If it was primarily for productivity, I could get behind it. But a couple of these with a single 1080Ti? I have to wonder if you will be able to get +60 fps at high quality or better in games. I'm assuming you got a large enough desk to fit two of these monsters?
