Uhhhh.. Greetings... from a [Noob]...?

Howdy there, y'all!
It's hard, and, quite honestly, hurts, to call myself a n00b... especially since I've been gaming for over 3 decades, and, if I might toot-my-own-horn, am a pretty decent gamer... BUT... I never really got into GTA5, and, since I (until mostly recently) only had it on the PS4... I never played it online.

Now... I find myself with GTA5 for the pc. and I even downloaded that loader thing I need so I can play on our own "servers"... But... I have no idea where to begin. I have NOTHING on my online character... Never played GTA5 online... And don't know jack-all about RP'ing for GTA... But.. I was going to help Summer with an event she had going on the other day (I ended up having to miss it because of stupid real life getting in the way (dumb old real life poopy head))... But it had me thinking... I'd really like to jump in to this... But... Kinda, maybe,,, need a tour guide?

Anyway. What I'm long-winding about here is... Are there any of you hardcore/plays-all-the-time'er types willing to show an Old-Fart how to eGO-GTA5?

yeah... I'm more of a "jump in and figure it out" kinda person.. But i'll (try) to go through the sticky's... Until then.. If you find yourself wanting to play, but with nothing to do.... hook me up.

I guess steam would be the easiest way to do that... i'm

Since i cant get on for a couple of hours ill tell you some very simple stuff
1. Chicken is the way you make money quickly, go to the job center, set your job to slaughter house, go to the locker room by the airport then drive up to paleto bay (town by the top of the map)
From there you can pick up 20 chicken (per inventory) and kill them, then package them. after youve done these steps you need to drive back to the city and sell the 100 packed chicken to chick fil-a.
Do this two times, then go to the bank and deposit all ur money, now go to the car dealership and get a benson (Should be under utility vehicles) its 150kg so it can carry 1500 packaged chicken. (one full inventory in the truck is 1500 packed chicken which is worth 150k (Do the collect slaughter and package step then go to ur vehicle, and press U. pressing u allows you to open the trunk. push "deposit" and use ur up and down button to find the Packaged chicken, it will say amount then go ahead and type however many packed chickens u got.
When your truck is full / however much you want to have in there drive back to the city and sell it at the chick fil-a
After doing this for a little bit you will afford cars, f ex the lambo being 230k or the better option the lc500(lexus i500 or smth) being 95k and a very good car. now you will have a car, a bit of money and you'll be ready to rp!

Dont do "unrealistic" stuff, like driving a supercar up a mountain etc etc
Seeing you're an eGO you probably know the basic rules and if you havent make sure to check the rules page, thats all i think.
(dont vdm rdm etc etc)

I'm assuming that's PM... in which case, the evening time will be perfect. cuz i'm CST too. I'm gunna try to solo/poke around a bit after lunch today.. then maybe be acclimated enough by the time you get on.

UPDATE: Got in and got my feet wet last night. Got pretty acclimated... seem to know the basics now. Thanks for everyone who was out there giving this non-noob-NOOB a hand.
