I'd like to start by saying im glad to be part of the EGO community.
The reason im making this post is becuase I think that on the map Closequarters, letting innos into the T room should be considered server disruption and that if an inno is found to enter multiple times they should get kicked for server disruption.

If an inno enters the T room they can be KOSed for that. I don't see how it's server disruption unless the traitors are purposefully letting people in the T room to ruin the round. But the Traitors baiting people into the T room wouldn't be SD.

But an Inno just entering is just a good play, not server disruption. Traitors need to be careful not to let the Innos in, it wouldn't be the Innos fault.

If someone enters the T room they are KoS, inno or not

If someone purposefully lets an innocent into it as a T, its teaming and not allowed

If an inno is sitting inside the T room doing nothing as the last one, its delaying/camping and not allowed

If he was able to sneak after a traitor and kill him, he deserves to be in there imo

As long as hes not completely disrupting the server, i dont see a problem.

Yes purposefully allowing innocents into the t room isn't allowed and it is considered server disruption there is no possible way for the admins to see who is purposefully letting players into the t room. There is really nothing admins can do about these types of situations unfortunately.

As a T, purposely letting innos into t-room is server disruption so the t can be kicked for it if they are found to be purposely doing so. As for the innos case, I think most admins would say its allowed. I personally think innnos going into T-room causes alot of rdm to happen and can be a form of t-baiting. T baiting isnt just shooting near another player, it's intentionally acting like a traitor. And going into T room is considered a traitorous act therefore I would say it is considered t baiting.

T-Baiting
Intentionally acting like a traitor is considered griefing and is server punishable. Innocents should not be intentionally commiting traitorous acts or claim to be a traitor

It always been server distruption, but kts up to the admins if they wanna kick them or not

RedDragonKnight RedDragonKnight we already had a poll regarding to closequarters we are maybe going to change how the T room works when tech team gets aproved to change it

Can t rooms even lock out innocents in csgo, because when I ported ttt_thething from gmod I had to strip out all that crap as csgo didnt have a thing in the sdk for it. And if that's the case, "t-rooms" are really just regular rooms, and putting traps and one ways in them is as broken as doing it in jail

IDK how but there is a way to set it up so only T's can open the doors into t rooms. Hence the name "t" room.

You are definitely allowed to go into the T room as an innocent to pursue T's which is why most people enter, however, a lot of innocents who play TTT simply just spray every single person that walks into the room even though most of the time they are trying to pursue the T that walks into them (which they technically can since its Traitorous behavior entering the room). A key part of TTT is communication which is why as an innocent I try to let people know I am going in there to kill the T and they usually don't kill me.

I would also like to add that a T opening the door and innocents then entering it is not Server Disruption. The innocents entering the room should know that it is traitorous behavior to enter the T room. Therefore, if an innocent is repeatedly entering the room for no apparent reason just to cause RDM then that would be Server Disruption not on the Traitors end.

You can filter activators by team, damage, entity type, or target name. The TTT plugin might be changing their team or targetname and the mapper figured out what they did and then filtered it to only allow that.

Yep, just call the door by the name traitor_door and you are good. Also works with triggers and anything that has a +use on it.

I actually think Closequarters is a fun map but I am not a fan of the T room, or really T rooms in any map. I think it encourages T's to camp and delay the round. I'd like to see the map stay but just without a T room.

As for letting innos into the T room, I think a T who does it to bait innos in and then kill them is fine but I agree with what others have said about repeatedly opening the door from afar so innos just rush in being disruptive.

Highlighted this issue in my suggestion thread here. As admins, we are unable to admin certain things because, unlike in JaillBreak, button presses do not show up in logs. If someone in TT were able to like "splyce" the code from jailbreak's and put it into TTT's where button presses were logged, it could actually make playing maps like closequarters more enjoyable and less RDM heavy.

If we get the TTT plugin updated, this is all included. It's just so much work because of what we already have.
