[poll] How about an eGo convention in Las Vegas?

Men, you are definitely invited. The guys are all over me to get the ball rolling so we're thinking late summer. Have you looked at our page? Our very first GF was in Alb. We had people fly in from everywhere to play with us. Now, I totally understand what everyone is saying about not having a ton of $$$ to spend. We toyed with this reigonal get-together thing back in January, but the member who was spearheading it left eGO and it died. This CAN be done and it's worth the work. I say we keep kicking the can and see what we can come up with.

That'd be awesome, I've been wanting to go back to Vegas for a long time. I've been there twice but both times I was with my family and too young to really enjoy it.

Problem for me is I live in Nova Scotia, and that's not exactly driving distance.
 
given the time and circumstances i'd be a go for vegas but that's depending on costs and my ability to save cash. Texas on the other hand wouldn't be a bad idea. some really nice hotels in downtown dallas. plus it's easily within driving distance for me :D
 
I support the idea of several regional group meetings at once rather than one huge one. The idea of posting a "regional organizer" would be a good idea.

Not only do you need some kind of lozenge for your throat, but you need to tell me where on this site I can find information. I used to host 10-15 people in my living room for monthly LAN parties, and I've not had the opportunity to do such a thing in years.

I'm all over it like stink on ... something stinky!

I'm not around as much as I'd like to be, but I'd still support something like this.
 
I think since a majority of our clan members live in the EST, if anything like this were to happen it should be MUCH more EST friendly.
 
I would love to try and do something like this. Starting off the regional idea seems best then maybe build to a national one once we prove we can push the numbers out. And if it happens I'm mooching a ride off Thor.
