This should be added for many reasons, let's say some asshole in a lamborghini speeds from the cops, goes to jail for 30minutes comes back, currently he would be able to just take out his car and continue his journey, but with this mod the cop/mechanic could set a cooldown and unlock prize on the vehicle.

A maximum time / prize for the vehicle can be set by leadership ofcourse.
This can only be done if your job is police(SASP, DHS, LSCPD) or mecano (mechanic)
This would most likely not eliminiate the use of PD tows, but the officer would most likely have to give the mechanic a prize/date on how long the vehicle should be impounded for, or how much it would cost to unlock

Also, Police and mechanics can now disable the unlock functionality in order to have suspects speak to them before being allowed to unlock their vehicle.
Meaning if Hunter bryson i mean a criminal runs from the cops 10 times a day with the same vehicle, gets caught they could make him have to talk to them and give him a legitimate reason why they should allow him to have/buy it back

Just looking at the format the menus are in it may not be possible to add this script. I was dealing with a similar script like this and it didn't work and also that warning message concerns me. Cool idea tho.

Yeah that warning was a bit concerning, the comments seem alright other than some start-up technical issues.
this might not work with our current garage system though

I very much like the idea and it could generate a lot more rp but it really just depends if the script will work with what’s already in place.
