A couple admins and I were wondering because it?s kind of unclear. Basically what happened was that a warden (Oranges ;) ) made a t crouch and saw he had a secondary weapon and killed him because he cane with contraband. The question up for debate is wether secondaries are meant to be concealed in JB like in csgo or if you are allowed to use to the glitch to see if T?s have secondaries.

Also I?m not 100% sure you can see secondaries in csgo comp but I?m pretty sure you can?t

I am 100% sure they are not meant to be concealed, otherwise why would Valve not simply just remove secondaries/pistols from the CS:GO player models.

My take on this when it happened is this.

It is definitely possible to make the models invisible (Like with bomb)

It is not invisible

Therefore its unreasonable to assume that its meant to be invisible.

The current state of the pistol system is fine with me, its near impossible to tell who specifically has the gun while in stack, but its always possible to unstack and check Ts individually if need be.

EDIT: Just to be clear I said to come back with no contraband.

It's never meant to be hidden. It was a cool plugin the (only) pg jb server had. It was broken, and well, I personally, don't think there's that much need to put it back in. Seeing how in Jail, you're meant to see the player's gun, and puts another aspect of skill into the game.

All I know is that secondaries have been concealed for at least a year now. When I became a junior on pG, I noticed it. Others told me they were hidden and CTs weren't meant to see secondaries, so I always figured it was part of the game. I kind of like it this way, but if it's truly a bug, then it should be fixed.
