What is the story behind your name?

My name backwards. When it was taken on minecraft, I changed it to use 2 k’s. I liked it with 2 so I stuck with it.

So i had a lot of random names that my brother randomly gave me and i was choosing between Gigo,Kica or Giga and then my brother came i asked him he just sayed GigsGigo and i was like uh thats a good name howd u get that soo fast and he sayed idk. most of yall wont trust this story but yes.

I just... like waffles?.. jk pancakes rule, but no seriously I think it was something really stupid, and it just kinda stuck. Bogurt Bogurt
pretty sure your name was waffle in a discord server and I called you waff, and its just stuck ever since lol

Well my old name was Filip Paul Johnson and I came up with that name actually from a YouTuber by the name of Teo. People would shorten my name to Filip or Filipe so I changed it to Filipe and have had it for years now.

Lets see, because I use a few names:

Nadya: Name of the main character, Nadya Ruslanova, from the Anime Film named 'First Squad.' Really enjoyed the name when I was in late middle school and early highschool, so its what I went with on here.

EryaHistoria: Name I use on WarThunder and few other places. Designed off of two names. Erya, inspired by the name for the German Pagan god for beauty, fertility, sex, war, gold, and seiðr named Freyja. Historia was decided after I heard the word during a documentary. Common attributed to an Attack on Titan character now when Im asked about it.

Alaska: My steam name, along with other things. Decided based on CB-1 USS Alaska since I enjoyed the ship's history. Works funnily well now that I'll be living there come December.

My very first CS name was "darkfrywarrior" which sounded a little kiddish after a certain point in age, and I wanted to shorten it so it ended up as "Dark Fry" but yea Fry is my last name, and I slapped Dark in front of it because I thought it sounded cooler.

I've had a few names, some longer than others. GooseBones, CW3 (Chief Warrant Officer 3), and a few that mocked politics, but Immaculate was always the one that meant the most to me because it represented what I aspire to. I know, it's corny but nonetheless true.

So, I keep asking people why they chose their names and I was thinking why not make a thread about it so that I dont need to annoy the hell out of people anymore.

Let's start off with my name. I chose United Airlines because it was a meme a while ago. It was meant to be my name for a month or two until the meme died but I kept it.

Why did you choose your name?
It's so awesome to see people still replying to this! Though I am not really a member here anymore, it's still fun to see all of your backstories

Used to be George ( English version of my real name), was kinda boring so I wanted to change it.
I like the idea of it being some animal + an adjective. I settled on turtle and started searching for a cool adjective to go with it. Since I was playing a lot of JB then (still do lol) I chose sneaky.
And POOF SneakyTurtle was born.
Also I got the picture from here.
