USB aint working

Well heres my problem... I just recently got my mic finally after 9 weeks at my frds house, but for some reason none of my usbs work. I just got this pc for a couple of months and none of my external devices use usb. So my question is there anyway in fixin this?

Check your chipset drivers on the motherboard. If they are not loaded usb won't be recognized. This happens sometimes on older boards.

Is it not recognizing just your mic...or anything else?

Usually older computers require a usb 2.0 driver installation to use some USB devices, another way to fix this is to go to windows update and they will usually update the drivers
