As it stands, a T can say "no rules" during any LR and kill the CT without giving them any amount of time to react. I've seen it happen where a T gun tosses a CT, waits for a CT to come to them, say no rules and then blast them. This should not be allowed.

A CT is given the ability to decline any custom rules that are not a part of the normal LR, so I feel that this would just be an extension of that, making it rebelling unless the T gives 3 seconds for the CT to decline the rules.

This is similar to this suggestion https://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?328053-Last-request-quot-No-Rules-quot with some differences and clarifications.

TL;DR, append this to the rules: Guards may decline custom LR?s or unreasonable LR locations. Ts must give 3 seconds for the guard to decline.

I'll repeat what I said in the other thread: It's the T's LR. If they want to mess around and cheese you on their LR, then so be it. They completed all the tasks/cancerous orders throughout the round that the CT's have given them.

But I would like to see others opinions.

CT's/Wardens can be REALLY "cancer" sometimes, doing games to kill off as many as possible instead of having fun, doing confusing commands etc etc.
If it happends so often then just prepare for it, dont stand 2m away from the t and expect him to not cheese you.

The goal of t's (prisoners) is basically to kill all ct's and overtake the jail, right?
if the warden wants to be "cancer" so will the T's

CT's deserve what they get in LR you damn cancer meat bags

If ct's could at least decline it or accept it, than I wouldn't really mind. If ct's are cancer than you always can rebel, you don't always have to listen to the warden and play the games. You can rebel than get to lr and he might pardon you. If he doesn't pardon you than keep on rebeling, you can also use the rebel feature in lr.

So you want to be take away the reward a t gets for surviving that toxic day? -1

No rules can also imply basic rules as in "no custom rules"

Yoo Matrix Matrix did you read the new rules?
I'm guessing you haven't, meaning this is the rule we are talking about:
"Saying no rules implies that any form of cheating is permitted."

I have and I've read how much AT ****ed them up. I say no rules just to tell the CT I don't have any customs and many players just say that to keep lr moving

They haven't "F*cked them up", they just thought that would be best. They just didn't do it in an hour, they had to take time to update these rules. You should be happy, not say that they "F*cked them up". If you disagree with a rule you can alway's just post a rule change suggestion, just like me and Oranges did.

When was the last time you saw an AT member playing JB? At extended periods, or a group of them to actually analyze the potential or consequences of their rule changes.

I've seen Jacko and CtrlAltDelicious play MUTIPLE times (I don't know the full at team but the ones I remember are Jacko and CtrlAltDelicious). There isn't much consequences with the rule, I do dislike the rule but at least I have a bit of respect for them. If they added this than there must have been a good reason for it. As much as I dislike this rule I know they had a reason to add this.

Attitude as a rebeller or prisoner in a jail environment.

We shouldn't fight cancer with cancer. I do agree that T's have to go through a bunch to get lr, but I disagree with the fact that they should be able to just do 'no rules' and kill a CT. It's unfair since they can simply say it and get the upper hand and first shot almost every time. Doing this is giving the CTs a taste of their own medicine i.e. fighting cancer with cancer. I think the CTs should get a few seconds to deny or the T be classified as rebelling. It's already hard enough to get a CT win considering players are also good at lr's, so we don't need to allow this too. And either way, if you really want to cheese as a T, you can always just run behind a CT and knife fight them.

Most of the rule updates weren't necessarily changes but mainly clarification. The "No Rules" in lr was clarified in updated rules instead of being kept in FAQ. In reality the rules around lr wasn't changed but the interpretation of it was.

The old FAQ prior to rules being updated said:
33) If people say "No rules" or "you can only shoot while jumping" and do not specify a location on shot 4 shot, would healing be considered cheating?
No, If they dont want them to heal they should specifically state that in their LR rules. If the T says “basic rules” cheating in any way including healing isn’t part of basic rules.
Basically saying No rules means literally no rules.

In the updated rules we just clarified this by stating:
Saying no rules implies that any form of cheating is permitted.

Shortly after updated rules were implemented, I asked custom stats if a T says "No rules" can a CT deny this and he said no as its not a custom lr.

After giving it about a week to test out I do agree that CT's should be allowed to deny "No rules" as they are like custom rules. T's still have a multitude of ways they can cheese the CT's. CT's cannot deny a regular LR (Unless the T is rebelling) but they were always allowed to deny a T's custom rules which made it pretty balanced for both sides.

Custom Stats, I personally think a CT should be allowed to deny "No rules." LR Rules doesn't need another update but simply the interpretation on "No rules" should be changed.

Fighting cancer wardens with cancer lrs doesnt seem like the correct way to go about things. One reason I dont add trash games that can kill everyone to my maps. The only lethal game in any of the maps I have touched in shoot em up in canyondam. It takes away a lot of cancer potential and allows the rules to take precedence, rather than letting people bypass the 50% rule by saying you have to play a game that 99% of the time kills everyone

Why not give Ts a chance to decline CT's commands/rules as well?

It's called rebelling. Used to be the thing everyone did before getting complacent with cancer orders.

The thing I'm trying to get at, is LR should be fair for those participating, just like games and orders are. Those that are opinionated are inherently unfair and can be declined as such.

If you ask me, I dont think CTs should be able to force a T to play a game that will kill them. They can hope that everyone else who plays is killed and so they win by default, or they can play in the hope's that more than 50% would be won, resulting in death to those not playing. Hot lava climb furthest X is s good example. It puts in some strategy behind game participation. Do you keep going so you're not overtaken, or do you keep it slow and hope someone ahead of you falls

Unfortunately people don't rebel much anymore unless its handed to them via a vent, secret, minigame, or the bomb. 3T to 1 CT ratio, still wont have a handful of people trying to rebel as a small group.

Ya, but I get killed when I do it.

Git gud? Seriously at least if you die early you can alt tab and play a game? Run in Windowed/Fullscreen Windowed and have another game running for when you die and have to wait 6-10 minutes for the next round because the CT's kill one or two in games and four or five for not exactly following the orders.
