Voice Chat Priority

So as many of you know, there is the occasional "There are too many people talking" message when servers get very popular. What I am suggesting, is for Detectives in TTT and Warden in JB to get priority in terms of voice chat (or maybe even just mute others while those are talking), so they can call out commands (without needing to use peace in JB although I know that is what the peace command is for) or a KOS/Proven in TTT. I thought we had something like this implemented, but the other day I got the message as detective and therefore nobody heard those calls of KOS and Proven. I don't know how difficult this would be to implement but it may be something to consider trying to do

Some people are just trying to relay information to teammates on just ask a question, or they simply just have too much background noise. This would also just result in repetitive rounds with the similar detective/warden over and over again.

This would also be pretty hard to implement in my opinion.

Usually situations like these can just be handled manually, through proper admining. A single voice would make gameplay seem much more bland in my opinion.

I don't know about others but a huge part of JB/TTT is the communication and the random funny comments.

I see what you mean Scoruge, but if there are admins on they will handle it.
And if a guy is voice spamming record it an report it.
While he is doing it you can also mute him.

I wouldn't say there's really a NEED for it. It rarely happeneds and whenever it does you can just use your peace command. This just also put's more stuff to do on the list of tech. Imagine being tech and having to program and fix stuff that you don't even know how to replecate or anything like that.

I've seen posts suggesting this back in pG forums.

Muting others as Warden/Detective speak is pretty overpowered and can get abusive very easily. Lowering the voice_scale temporarily as they speak can be pretty overpowered as well, for reasons A ApexLock mentioned.

!peace was a great addition that gave Warden a tool to briefly mute others so he can clearly give a command or explain a game. I do believe that !peace can be tweaked a little bit so it can work better.

I think it would be cool idea to give Detectives in TTT an !peace command or something similar to what we have in Jailbreak. Each Detective can only use it once per round and it wouldn't mute other D's. Maybe instead of muting players it lowers their voice_scale. Just a thought
