Hello my name is Jimmy. On April 28, 2018 I was hospitalized for a week and almost died. I suffered from Ketoacidosis. I have a medical condition by the name of Gastroparesis which resulted in higher blood sugars that triggered Ketoacidosis. After recovering from Ketoacidosis, I became weak and did not have the strength to walk. I was then readmitted into the hospital for medical testing. The hospital staff doctors and specialists took a few weeks but struggled to diagnose my condition. I had an hour and a half MRI, multiple CAT scans, X-rays, liver and lung biopsies, and blood tests.
The MRI revealed a spinal condition by the name of Spinal Stenosis. Also, the X-rays revealed a fracture and a bulging disk. I now have to wear a back brace. I will eventually need back surgery. My liver and lung biopsies revealed an auto immune disease by the name of Sarcoidosis. I am seeking medical treatment as we speak, but due to my poor health condition I can no longer work. Currently, I do not have any source of income or health insurance. I am seeking funds to offset my current hospital bills which are currently over $43,000. I have been hospitalized seven times this year for months at a time and will need future treatments for Sarcoidosis, Spinal Stenosis, and Gastroparesis. I would appreciate any donations. I am scheduled for my first doctors appointment with the Pulmonologist on 11/19/2018 to begin my treatments for Sarcoidosis. I desperately need your help. $1, $5, $10, any amount helps and adds up.
