On November 23, a longtime member of the community passed away, I SURVIVED LONDON BLITZ. He was part of the Royal Military Police and as his name suggests, he was a survivor of the London Blitz (1941-1942) in World War II. London has been of a member in Day of Defeat since 2008 and has received multiple awards to recognize his dedication and good moral compass such as Day of Defeat Member of the Year, Day of Defeat Medal of Valor, and Division Leader Commendation. London was proud to be a part of the community and always had a positive influence to those around him.

It is impossible to reach the level of dedication that LONDON BLITZ had for the community. Even in his sick days, he would still come onto the server daily and excite everyone. His stories, positivity and want to make sure everyone was having fun will be remembered by us all, and missed by our DoD regulars greatly. He truly changed the server and was a staple of it for many years.

Sad to see him go, I remember when I first started playing on eGO servers playing on I think it was avalanche and a few other DoD:S servers and he was always extremely kind. He will certainly be missed, as I'm sure he had a great impact on not only those in this community but also out in the world.

I never knew him when he was not sick, even when he was ill, he came on, kicked ass and had a good time.

An overall word for him was classy.

I haven't been on the DOD servers in at least 2 years, but I wanted to jump on the forums and say that I remember London very well and fondly. When I actually learned that he indeed survived the London Blitz and it wasn't just a cool name I was in awe. I wish him peace and sending his family my thoughts and love.
