hokay so.
got the new parts in, yay!
start putting everything together and after 3.5 hours of work its finally fit in.. now to start it. Plug the PSU in and hit the on switch, nothing. well crap. tinkered around with it for a bit to make sure everything was secure and still nothing. ok.
completely unhooked the PSU from the Mother board and plugged the psu into the wall alone to see if it would work by itself (it has it's own power switch.) Still no avail.
after doing that i started hooking up smaller bits of the psu to the mother board (the main power connectors and still had no avail save for a small "whirr" sound as if it was about to start up but that may have been from me connecting the 24 pin while the psu was plugged into the wall. either way. is my PSU shot or did i fry my mobo while fumbling around to install it?
edit* OCZ sent me a dead PSU. my dell's 250 watt made the cpu + fans run. 4 year old dell psu 1, OCZ 0.
