So recently I’ve tried logging into steam through the browser and on my phone instead of the steam app and I had my password wrong so I reset it and tried again. After I reset it and tried again I got this error “There have been too many log in failures from your network in a short period of time. Please try again later.”

So the next day (About 9 hours later) I tried to log in and received the same error. My account name and password were most definetly correct. I tried again earlier today and just again right now.

I’m still logging in the steam app on my computer but I can’t log into steam on my phone or the steam browser. If you can help me I’d really appreciate it :)

Hi,

Are you using chrome browser on your phone?

Don't use chrome autofill. Remove the steam info from google autofill and manually add in the info in.

Hope this helps.

I could try this but I’m using the steam app on my phone (with autofill) and it auto fills on my browser on my computer aswell.

Edit: Didn’t work

The browser on your PC goes by without a problem? With the autofill?

I got it on my phone but not on the steam browser yet. I'll just keep hurting myself until steam works.

if he is using steam guard he should have gotten a code for i use it myself

No because.. using steam guard is the difference between with using autofill on browser for steam and it prompting you for steam guard, instead of it directly telling you that it's wrong credentials. In his case I believe, even if he puts in the right code from steam guard it will still tell him wrong password. I was wondering if that's the case.
