Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Battle Royale operation coming to CSGO, was this needed?

Valve isn?t done with its 2018 CS:GO content updates just yet, as they have been planning something big to end the year with ? Maybe even new Operation?

Now before getting into the exact details of what is expected with this upcoming content update, let's talk about the crux of the matter. The thing which kick-started all of this ? the tweet from the official CS:GO account.

From the tweet, this much is pretty obvious that the developers are planning on releasing something on Wednesday, i.e. tomorrow. However, what some of you failed to notice is that the developers have also changed the game?s iconic blue and yellow logo, with a brand new one. This new logo not only changed the color to red but also swapped the character model to one which we have yet to see within the game.

Speculations from around the internet are stating that a new Operation is coming to CS:GO, one which will feature all of these previously-hidden features.

And well, from what we have been seeing in terms of global trends, what is that one thing that is the shizz right now? Yup, Battle Royale. We believe Valve is working on bringing a BR mode to the CS:GO, and details regarding that will surface tomorrow.

I can say with like 90% certainty there is no BR coming to CS:GO lol.

I like battle royal in csgo ONLY. Maps like br electrified and all are quite fun. Lets hope they make this fun and not shit like fortnite.

I hate fortnite because there is people that constantly try hard , seasin 3 was OK it was quite fun since building was really basic and there wasn't much just spaming theyre keyboard. Now when I'm playing fortnite with some friends there's just people that out build you in like 3 seconds and you just get destroyed. Even if I was to try hard my self than 1. The game is no fun 2. They would still out build me 3. I would probably die because of a stupid reason. (Fall dmg etc). I just find csgo more fun because it's purely based on skill and there is community servers. I stopped playing comp because I just got russians, whenever playing I constantly got russians and got kicked. Why? Because 1. I didn't speak english 2. Got really tilted and I was confused (because the enemy team was full english and my team mates just played pp bizon, p90 or just ak which they just sprayed) 3. I was a 12 year old with a REALLY high pitched voice ( I still do :/). Thats why I play community servers and not comp. Also I would play games like BF5 and CoD but the price for the games is insane, what like ?50 for BF5 and ?80 for CoD.
This is supper unneccesary but I just had to say this.
