Now, I've been playing the Team Fortress Series ever since TFC came out. When I hear TF2 was being made, I was like, "Finally !" Well, I pre-ordered it and got to play beta. But now, ALOT has changed since the trailers were released and updates were made. I'll name some.

- Since beta, I remember an animated startup screen. It was the rocket in Dustbowl. Now, it never show up :s

- The first trailer, ALL the classes I think were to sound the same. When the pyro was killed, "it" made a diffrent death noise and can still be found in GCFSCAPE. However, It is only a never heard medic call that can be found.

- They had no facial expression. (Good choice Valve changing it)

- Of Course, Beta designs of characters shown in the trailer

- Some weapons that were shown in the trailer, but never in the game. Such as the scouts nail gun, spies "silent" pistol and the medic's needle.

- Remember the medic achivements, pain in the but. Now, Valve changed some of it to be lowered. But somehow, we have "2" logos for some achievements. For example, before, the pyro had to burn 8 people in a single ubercharge. Now, it was changed to 5. BOTH had the same logo, but the only diffrence is the number ON IT.

- The muzzle flash looked more cartoonish in the trailers, but it now more "realistic"

- And you now can't report bugs. -_- Smooth Move Valve

- The ammo for demo and soldier were changed.

- "Hidden" Startup music. (The drums one, only through GCFSCAPE)

So, anyone else notice anything missing.

BESIDES THE TNT AND GRENADES !!!

This was removed because for some people, it bugged the game.

Probably because the facial anamations/voice acting was not done yet

Video game developer design choices... Does this matter much at all?

A) as far as I know, the medic achievements were made only reciently. As this is a new thing...
B ) What is the problem with not changing the image?
C) Medic achievements are a new thing and not a beta thing...
(felt like it had to be said twice)

The muzzle flash still looks cartoony to me... anyone else?

Steam auto-reports bugs.

- The ammo for demo and soldier were changed.
Balance issues. Allthough this ruined demoman for me.

- "Hidden" Startup music. (The drums one, only through GCFSCAPE)
All 4 start up musics play in the startup screen for me. This must be your problem.
1) Sounds like a surfing song
2) Sounds like a waltz
3) Sounds like the surfing song except more clasical
4) Sounds like the band "STOMP!" made the song. This is the one with drums.

I didn't have it when they had grenades, but I know a lot of people were mad when valve got rid of it. Seems like the game did okay though!!

tbh valve are masters of balancing gameplay and anything they did was almost definitely for the best. I personally don't question them, they're professionals.
