Considering I live in Western Washington, earthquakes are kind of our raison d'etre. I have sort of experienced a volcanic eruption in that Mt. St. Helens blew her, well, side just under a year before I was born. And although I haven't actually encountered one in person we occasionally get the odd tornado (like one that was in Enumclaw not long ago).

Past that though the only real one I've encountered was the 2001 Nisqually quake. During which I was just starting my weight training class in high school, with an awful lot of heavy equipment shaking around us.

My state is constantly on fire. I've been evacuated a bunch of times.

Been caught in a bad flood before, pretty scary experience considering how fast current moves

I live right outside of tornado valley and get a few occasional ones around throughout the year.

Professional storm chaser. Current count is 86 tornadoes.

I live in Alabama, we get tornadoes, remnants of hurricanes and even the occasional earthquake. Pretty sure we're just had a minor quake about half an hour ago. We had flooding earlier this week from storms. Kind of feel like this should be a choose all that apply question.

On a light note: The main disaster I was involved in was sitting through the entire length of Dragonball: Evolution....that is time I can never get back.

On topic though, I have never been in a disaster.

We had this one really weak tornado that ripped the side of gym off.

That's it though

Hello to the top 4 answers! But since I can only pick one, I went with volcanic eruption. Yay to Mt St Helens.

I was also present during more than one banpocalypse but I don't consider those to be disasters.

I've experienced tornadoes, and that is about it. They are pretty scary. In fact, I was running from one just last summer in my car. I thought that damn thing was going to go through my home. Luckily, it missed our town and unfortunately hit another. As for me, I ran from an intense hailstorm in my Impreza for about 60 miles. I ended up hiding underneath a gas station canopy for a few hours. That damned hail chipped paint on my precious Impreza!!!! All is good now though, and my home is fine!

We have the occasional stray rain cloud coming down on us. Not really floods in the last 40 years....

I live in San Diego. A couple days ago we got an inch of rain so I guess you could say I survived a flood.
