Kansas, friend. In the season, 2-3 tornadoes a month.
 
I'm going into meteorology next year so this post was interesting :)

Two stories one I was in 3rd grade and right before we got out of school the principal spoke over the announcements we are having a weather emergency yada yada apparently there was a tornado extremely close to the area and a tree fell and broke one of the windows right by where I was which was pretty cool.

Stoy number two isn't really an encounter of a tornado but kind of funny, I went to an indoor pool one day with my family (This was prob in 5th grade) and right when we jumped in the pool (litteraly no more then 30 seconds later) The lifegaurds blew their wistels because there was a tornado touch down nearby and we had to huddle into a locker room for around 2 hours. best part of it was when the tornado warning left and we got to swim we only got to swim for 2 minutes because the pools were closing after, so a solid 2 minutes of swimming lets just say 5th grade me wasn't happy.

Denmark is pretty chill. We've had INSANE wind, but the last time something "awful" happened was in 1999.
Spoiler alert: It wasn't that bad. Maybe a trampoline went flying, but I think thats about it.

However weird it sounds though - I would love to experience an earthquake, without anyone losing anything. I just feel that it would be an awesome experience (knowing everyone and everything, including myself would be safe).

There's different types of earthquakes, too. I can distinctly remember how 2 have felt. One was just semi-violent shaking of the entire building (I believe this was a 5.5 magnitude with the epicenter about 70 miles away) and then another one where I felt a "wave" moving westward followed by mild shaking (I believe this one was 3.2 about 30 miles away)
 
back 1989 i missed earthquake in newcastle, NSW australia while i was away on holiday to families

2011 it massive experience with so much flooding in brisbane, australia i will never forget, today some place
still not fixed it and some have bulldozed due the owner cant afford to fix it include the insurance as well, some house
have pull down and rebuild due major damage from the flood,
 
Tornados, fires, minor flooding, and earthquakes at various points in my life. Though the earthquakes have been fairly small ones which is common for where I lived. Just sleep right through them and stuff.
 
If it counts: 7-8 feet of snow in like a 1-3 day period. Driving home I couldn't see anything, or tell if I was on the road.

I'm not sure if this counts but one time when I was little and still living at my old home, we still had an apple tree. During the winter we had a large snow storm (not sure if it was a blizzard or not) that knocked it right over and destroyed our fence line. It wasn't really a super natural disaster but it was one of the scariest nights of my life as a kid due to the loud noise the tree made and not being able to really see outside xD
 
The good ole hundred year flood in South Carolina back in 2015 has probably been the worst in my lifetime that I recall. We have gotten a couple hurricanes and tropical storms through my area but nothing terrible.
 
Shoulda been a poll with multiple options. Hurricanes, tornadoes, rockslides, floods. Gotta love North Carolina!

went through hurricane floyd when i was young.

got hit with a tornado last year. no damage to our home other than shingles gone and a tree down, but damage all around.
(This was about a block away. we had trees down and shingle damage as well as broken glass, but nowhere near this destruction right next to us)


had a couple more tornado incidents over the years, but nothing ever close as last years.
