Hi, it's me, Cheesecake- I'm from the TF2 Division. First of all, I'm not sure this post is allowed- I hope so. Anyway, I'm about to go off to college and want to get into collegiate eSports, preferably in CS:GO. Anyway, for coaches to be interested in me, I need a team, and was wondering if there are some young players interested. If you are, just message me on steam- my username is my eGO username. There are a few requirements, i.e. you do need to be near my rank (I'm a Silver 1- impressive, I know), and you have to be about high school age. We can work out practice/comp times/details later, but I think we'll be using FaceIt. And finally, I'm a lurker- so that spot is *kinda* taken, though I can AWP too.

Anyway, thanks!
(And officers- pls don't ban me i just want to afford college)

If anybody has any better advice, let me know. :)

Should probably start playing ESEA, dming, and watching matches / demos. Your rank is extremely low and most open teams are a lot higher than what you are in terms of skill.

^^^ this, used to play CEVO open matches. You should preferably get your own rank up to around MG2-MGE in MM to get comfortable

Source: am MG1

You should talk to Kenny or DeaG or David they have more experience in those competitive settings than me

I would say one important thing is to just start working on it in solo queue's in faceit. That is how I first joined a team before I stopped playing in a "competitive" team
